Daniela Cott (15) is an Argentinean girl that used to sell garbage from the streets, until her green eyes dazzled a scouter and her life changed forever. A few months ago, Daniela Cott was looking for bottles, cardboard and bags with her family, in order to earn 5 Euros per day. A scouter was impressed by her green eyes and her almost anorexic beauty. When she was 10 years old, her family usually compared her with a fat aunt and she became anorexic and bulimic for a while.
"You are gorgeous! You can become a model!", said the man who discovered her that afternoon, while she was carrying cardboard, paper and plastic in a trolley together with her brother Hernán (17) and her mother Olga (38). He gave her a business card and asked her to phone him. She did it two days after that. Then, she checked his credentials and now she is part of Haru Models modeling agency.
The agency included her right away in its book and proposed her as a candidate to the Elite Model Look international that will be held in Turkey the 26th of January. People voted for Daniela to represent Argentina in this contest. When she was declared the winner, she did not "know if crying, laughing or running away". "Then, I walked through the catwalk and I hugged my mom, who was very excited", said Daniela. Now her dream is to be like Argentinian models Valeria Mazza and Nicole Neumann.
Her first work as a model was a photo session for a clothing brand and she earned 125 Euros in clothes and 75 Euros in cash. She used part of that money for inviting her family to dine out in a buffet restaurant.
