Here is today's SoulBlog by the author of Soul Blurts Eric Leikam . Prayer To Put God First
God, help me remember to put You first. Do I have any chance without putting You first? I don't think so. Help me bless my brothers and sisters. Help me heal my problem thoughts. Help me be a blessing to the world. Help me express Your healing glory and righteousness. Father, You have the answers to questions before they are even raised in my mind. How can I possibly doubt Your Word?

Here is today's SoulBlog by the author of Soul Blurts Eric Leikam
Father's Day is coming up. My father has been dead for a year and a half but there are many reminders of him in my own voice and activity. Same with our Heavenly Father. Even though my dad has passed I'm still a son with an everpresent Father-Mother God. Being a father myself, I can see how God would be for me as I try to be for my son. So this Father's Day, make every day Father's Day for God The Father is with us always. Soul Blurts... Here is today's SoulBlog by the author of Soul Blurts Eric Leikam
Generation And Expectation
There is no one to popularize the concept of God within man at the center of his attention. To our generation, God seems to be nowhere; if He is somewhere, somebody sold or bought Him out. I want to help our generation keep looking forward and looking within to find answers to all the big questions. I suppose a lot of people expected somebody else to do the work for them. A lot of them, it seems, are caught in between wanting the cars, homes and money while pursuing freedom from those very things. Has this generation fallen shorter of its own glory than any in recent
memory? It's capable of many tremendous possibilities.

Here is today's SoulBlog by the author of Soul Blurts Eric Leikam
Mind Of God "Brain-power" is a term used to describe intelligence but think about this: God has no brain. God is Mind. God is all intelligence. The mind of God created everything including you and me. Sometimes I meditate: The mind of God is my mind. I think along Divine lines. They feed my human mind. As I am in the midst of a great personal transition I adhere to the Truth. I am God's child, conceived and created in perfection as are all people. I may not approve of things that others do but I am forgiving because Love is forgiving. I let Divine Mind guide me into paths of Truth, Love, Spirit, Soul and Principle. As I move toward my future I feel the presence of the Divine. I move towards a greater calling that will fully utilize my talents and desires. To the Divine, there is no gloom. I have much to offer my fellow man with my enthusiasm. Nothing or no one can diminish it. Enthusiasm is the presence of God within me. I give thanks and praise to God for giving me my daily bread. I give thanks and praise to God for giving me growth, optimism, courage and strength.

Here is today's SoulBlog by the author of Soul Blurts Eric Leikam Use The Light
I am God in me. I allow that presence to surface in my thought and action. I feel the presence and power of God in everything. Hand in hand we go through the day, conquering all that would try to separate us. My eyes are light. My soul is light. I use the light to make my world and to bless its population. Here is today's SoulBlog by the author of Soul Blurts Eric Leikam.
This Christmas my wish is for the Christ Child in every one of usto be re-born and nurtured. Everyone could reach their full potential and experience happiness by looking within to their guiding light. I wish for my family, friends and associates to realize and manifest the complete unfettered wholeness of their lives. I always stand ready to receive my good. I pray I am wise enough to recognize it. May you and they do as well.

Here is today's SoulBlog by the author of Soul Blurts Eric Leikam
Here's an excerpt from Soul Blurts.
Let Spirit move me so that I may do good works and so honor myFather in Heaven. Let me feel the joy and satisfaction of being all I was created to be. Don't keep me on the sidelines, I want in on the action! Time is always running and the desire is always burning. Let me know success in my endeavors. Give me the drive and determination and resources to finish all that I have started. I gladly accept these gifts that my Heavenly Father has bestowed upon me. I will make the best use of them that I can.

Growing up, you and I may have heard once or twice "Why can't you be more like your brother or sister" or some other supposedly respectable person whose behavior we were supposed to emulate and incorporate into our living. The question I'm asking today is: "Why can't I be more like me?"
But aren't I always me? To some extent yes. A lot of times, though, we will get into relationships that cause us to change from our desired or accustomed behavior to something else. It may be a beneficial change as in a slob who begins to become neater, or it may be detrimental such as a casual drinker becoming more chronic.
In the beginning, we were created by God as perfect spiritual images and in our quest to be more like the Father, we wished to know darkness, for all we knew was light. I don't know about you but I'm thinking that I've had about enough of darkness in my life. And though I know I'll encounter plenty more, I wold try to keepmy mind on the light that we are all collectively getting back to. "Why can't I can't be more like me" means why can't I be more like the perfect image of me that God conceived? I dont care about an image that the mass media tries to feed me. They're only trying to sell me something and very rarely is it ever the Truth.
Thank You, Father-Mother God for creating me in perfection. Thank You for the realization that all You are is all that really is. Thank You for guiding me into thinking that seeks Truth and glorifies You; for without You my own glory is meaningless and vain. With You, I can be more like me.

Soul Blurts helps the reader face the modern world´s problems with a unique spiritual perspective. Author, songwriter, musician and radio DJ Eric Leikam writes like an enlightened layman in the tradition of Eric Hoffer's The True Believer. The accumulated wisdom that he shares will benefit anyone, regardless of religious preference. More than one person has declared "Everyone needs to read this book."
Soul Blurts features 6 inspirational chapters.
Chapter 1-"Down On Me" deals with self-esteem issues.
Chapter 2-"Fill ´er Up" addresses abundance issues.
Chapter 3- "I Keep Forgetting" helps re-focus the mind on the relationship between God and the individual.
Chapter 4-"My Father´s Business" has spiritual guidance in finding and keeping employment.
Chapter 5-"A Little Gratitude" demonstrates the importance of giving thanks to the Almighty.
Chapter 6-"From Here To There"-explores putting it all together.
Well that's the book and you can preview some of it at Xlibris. I'll also post excerpts from it on future blogs. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about Soul Blurts.
Peace and Love,
Eric
