My name is Pastor Rob and we are starting a new thing on the Southside of Chicago.  We want to start a place where musicians can have a place to minister their music.  This is starting April 13th @ 8pm and every Friday after that.  We want a place where Christians and non-Christians can come to hear good music but at the same time be able to minister to them and plant a seed in their heart.  The style of music doesn't matter as long as it is lifting up the name of Jesus.  We want it to become a place where people know there is going to be someone playing every Friday night, they might not know who the band is but they know a band will be performing and that it will be good.  This will be beneficial to you and to us because people will get to hear your music that might have never heard of you before and they will be able to buy your cd's and other things on the day of the concert.  Remember just because it's Christian doesn't mean it can be weak, we want to give God the best and especially if non-Christians will be attending.  We don't want them to walk away and say Christian music is wack just because we don't want to discipline ourselves to be the best that we can be musically.  If you are from the Chicagoland area or will be here on tour and looking for a place to play at please feel free to contact us, we would love to hear from you.  If you are interested in signing up for a Friday night, email me here @ myspace or our church email: newlifepilsen@sbcglobal.net.  Our church website is www.newlifepilsen.com.
