Hello to The Philbys' Network,

The BIG news this week is that we can confirm that 'Freefalling' will be our first single. Its coming out on 27th October - digital format only via iTunes. Our friends at AWAl have helped us put this together.

And the track has been sent out to the radio stations this week, so fingers crossed it may get a few spins in the coming weeks.

Come & see us this Wednesday, 17/9 live at Bar Rumba - onstage at 8.45pm.

Just a quick note to say thank you for Friday at Tommy McFlynns - we had a great gig, always a pleasure. Next one is at Bar Rumba on 17th Sep - but we'll be in touch before then.

In the meantime, there are a couple of things going on ...

First up, Freefalling currently 32 in the Tourdates unsigned charts. If you play it or download from their site, we'll go up. Unfortunately you have to register which is a pain, so we understand if don't want to do that. Check it out here;

We are going to swap the downloadable track on our profile this coming Monday 1st September. So if you haven't picked up 'Freefalling' already, this weekend is best time to do so.

First up, thaks to everyone who came down to The Proud Galleries. It was a great night and the promoter wants us back, so watch this space.

A few of the forthcoming dates have changed. The Miller date has shifted onto Thursday 25th Sep. Here are the dates in September;

5th Sep - Tommy McFlynns, Camden

17th Sep - Bar Rumba

25th Sep - The Miller

The October date at The Grand is now cancelled. In fact, all dates at the Grand are cancelled becasue they are stopping live music at the venue which is a terrible shame. Anyway, there will be more dates during October and we'll announce these and more news of the first single release in the next week or so.
