Nishi will be performing new songs off her upcoming album on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the Labor Day Charity Bash presented by BrownSkinz Music. This is a benefit to raise money forMission Humanity - a charity started in 1997 by a NYC Taxi Driver in efforts to raise money so he can educate the underprivileged girls of his hometown village, Dhoober Kishanpur, India.

Nishi completed her photo shoot for her 2nd album and the pictures were taken by phenomenal photographer Sam Khan of Image Works NYC - Nishi highly recommends his expert eye and attention to detail. If you are in the NYC area and looking for headshots or any type of photography, contact ImageWorks and request Sam. Check back in 2 weeks or so to view the final photos from the shoot. Nishi will be in the studio for the next 3 weekends completing production on 5 new tracks for her wedding CD. 

Nishi is currently back in the studio working on her Wedding CD and her 1st full-length album!

The Wedding CD will be released in May 2008 and will include a song Nishi has written to perform on her wedding day. Videos will be available as well as as a re-mix dance version.

Since Nishi completed her demo, she's been anxious to get back in the studio and produce a full-length album. This will be released this Summer 2008!

In addition to her music, singing and writing, Nishi is a lawyer who is passionate about human rights and international law, and children's rights, especially, are dear to Nishi's heart.

To that effect, Nishi has taken a stand as an attorney to help end the victimization of children and has begun working with ECPAT-USA and launched a new Lawyer's Committee for ECPAT-USA to end child prostitution and the illegal trafficking of children to the U.S. for exploitation. Nishi will be chairing this brand new Lawyer's Committee for ECPAT-USA.

ECPAT is an international organization that is fighting to end Child Prostitution, Child Trafficking and Child Pornography.

For those unfamiliar with this issue, children are being illegally trafficked in to the United States from all over the world and being victimized and exploited sexually. Some of these children are as young as 4 or 5 years of age. Some are older, 12-17 and are being arrested and jailed as ' prostitutes' without being cared for as victims or as children. The crimes against these children are much more horrific and terrible than you can imagine and it is continuing to happen on a daily basis.

Nishi is asking that you please help her spread the word to other lawyers, law students, and anyone familiar with legal research (or anyone you think would be willing/interested in doing research or writing and volunteering) and ask them to join the new Lawyer's Committee of ECPAT-USA and offer their legal research and writing services on a strictly pro bono/volunteer basis. You don't have to be a lawyer to join, simply someone who wants to help.

If you care about human rights, children's rights, and saving the lives of children who are being victimized here in the U.S., then please join this new committee. Please spread the word and help Nishi to do the legal work necessary to put laws in place that will help prevent child sexploitation from taking place and help the victims of this horrible practice now.

The Lawyer's Committee of ECPAT-USA will be hosting meetings in New York, but this will be a national group and Nishi is asking for volunteers all over the U.S. to join and support her efforts. This group will need members from every state to research their states' laws and how their state handles child prostitution.
