Jay-R here! OMG! Thank you guys so much for coming out this past Friday! I had the best time with the Halloween costumers! I'm not much of an emcee (As you can tell... SHUT UP!) but I did pretty well.

Congrats to Lord.... Awww fuck it! I couldn't pronounce his name then, and I surely can't pronounce it now! Well, underneath that costume was a White Horse regular named Julian that really worked that costume! Great job, Julian!

Bartender Scott works the back bar with me every Friday night. I had to get my camera ready, so I took a few shots of him and I liked this one the best. Make sure you make bartender Scott one of your stops on Friday. He's really sweet and swift with the drinks.

Oh yes, hunny! The D-I-V-A herself! Johnny in her wild, outrageous costume she worked. Johnny is a riot! Work it, girl!

Mister X-Man, Joe and Mister Incredible Mike stop and posed for the camera. Everyone, except Scott and I (We're wearing ours on Tuesday night) wore costumes and came as super heroes. Great idea guys!

Yes! It's the flirty Puerto Rican papi, Gil showing off his super skills! He didn't wear his cape and there's a reason. Other than the fact it was snagging on all the liquor bottles, Gil.... I mean Superman had another way of getting around than flying. Ask him about it next time you see him. LoL!

Aiight, kids! I'm hella tired and I have alot of work to do before Tuesday. I know you guys are gonna come out again, right?! You're gonna have to! I'm wearing my costume that night and I'm playing all the super jamzzz!

Come out and hang with us on Tuesday. You do NOT want to be in all that mess in the Castro. TRUST ME! At least you'll be a little more close to home and you won't have to cross that bridge!

Saturday night. The crowd looked really good as DJ Sam Storicks rocked the crowd.
My gosh! I could've swore he's a replica of me DJing! He plays the same music I dig.
DJ Sam does have his own style and his ways of working the crowd. I give him crazy
props on such a good set tonight. I can say this... It was well worth my trip to the
Horse. I could've went to the city and drank for free, but I wouldn't have heard such
an amazing set tonight. No B.S. It's so cute how he is so shy that he doesn't look at
anyone. He's adorable! Make that man blush and say through the window next time
you hit a Saturday night.

I did walk around the club and took a few stolen shots from some of the good looking
people, but only two of them actually came out (Bad lighting). First was my favorite
bartender who knows just how to serve them... Bartender Scott!

Speaking of Bartender Angie. She's like the coolest person you'll ever want to meet!
She's witty, talented, intelligent, and down right hysterical. She's a great energy and
I think you should let her wait on you sometime. I didn't get to snuff a picture on my
camera phone of her, but I'll get her next time.
Bartender Robert (I call him Robbie ) is the newest victim in our White Horse staff.
He's an amazing individual that had me busting up laughing everytime tonight. What
a great guy.
I did manage to salvage a shot of the reigning queen of the White Horse, Diva Dan.
She was F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S in her sheer outfit (She was serving the kids!) that I had
to snuff a photo from her! She's having a party on November 12th at 8:30 sharp!
I'll definitely be there for that! Her make-up was, as always, FLAWLESS! A little dark,
but her smiles shines through that photo.

Hey guys! DJ Jay-R here! Tonight was great! I played EVERY-THANG! From House to Hip Hop to Old School to even Mash-Ups.

A couple old geezers were complaining about the fog. I told them, "Honey! I've been DJing for years in nightclub fog and I don't have asthma yet!" They just smiled. How could they complain? I played everything within a five hours span that made them dance. The funny thing is, is that the ones that complain the most are the ones who stay until the very end of the night. I thanked them and they said they were coming back next week. I told them to "Leave them attitudes at home". They just laughed.

I saw alot of people who I added on the White Horse MySpace page which was really cool. I smiled at a few of them, but really was too busy mixing and stuff. I take my DJing too seriously. I want to make sure everyone has a great time. I just want to thank those of you who support The White Horse. It is a nice club I have options of working anywhere in the SF city, but I choose to work at a club that's more comforting. I used to bring in lots of new faces when I used to work there a few years back. Hopefully, I can continue that tradition, so we all look like fresh meat. HAHAHA! Jokes.

I think next week, I'll drop a new CD for September. I need you guys' help on what to put on the CD. Hip Hop, Dance, Old School, you name it. Just message me on the MySpace page and I'll make sure I get it and put it in the mix.

I'm going to have other White Horse staff post blogs as well, to let you know how things go every night, so it may not be me all the time posting blogs. It may be a White Horse staff or a customer. It depends.

Hey Kids!

Yes, it's me, DJ Jay-R.

I took a break for a while, but I'm back.

I took the liberty of making a MySpace page for the club for promotion and to let you guys know what events are coming up.

If you haven't made it out to the club, there have been changes on Friday nights.

I'm playing a totally new format that consists of House, Top 40 Dance, Hip Hop, 80's, 90's, and Mash-Ups. The past two weeks have been totally successful and I've been getting a good response on the dancefloor.

I gave away free mixed CD's the first night I was back and everyone has been begging me for one. I only made about 100 of them, so you'll probably have to wait till' next month to cop the September issue.
