I get a lot of emails asking a lot of the same questions, and then I get asked questions a lot by those I run into out and about locally that recognise me.Some people felt stupid asking and I assure you, it's nothing to feel dumb about. There's seriously no such thing as a stupid question. I thought I'd make this blog to help the shy :)

Frequently Asked Questions & Answers:

Q: What Nationality are you?

A: I've done some extensive research on this, I'm very much a geek..haha, thus far I know the following for a fact:

*I'm Scandinavian
*I'm also Welsh and Scot-Irish.
- My mother's side of the family consists mostly of Scandinavian, Scottish and Welsh blood. My father's side has come up mostly Irish, I know that my Irish family came here through New York in the 1860's. I have a lot of Viking blood in me,which I find extremely bad ass..LOL!

Q: How are you so pale, what can I do to be that pale?

A: I was born this pale honey..lol. I have my heritage to thank. It helps I'm allergic to the sun, so I can't be in it, but yes...I'm that white just like the photos.They haven't been tweeked to make me whiter.I do get made fun of for it sadly by people in public who I guess just are ignorant and assume I'm just a goth, but I really am this white and I naturally have dark hair.I think of it as a gift.

Q: What makeup and skincare do you use?

A: With makeup brands, use what matches your skin. I don't use the expensive stuff, I'm far too frugal for that. If you want your makeup to look good, get your skin in check first.I always wear sunscreen. Aveeno makes a great day cream with 30 SPF, and I actually just saw a commercial for a new cream of theirs that I swear they said had 52 SPF so I'll be buying that a.s.a.p! SPF needs to be used all over ladies. Your neck,chest,arms,etc...they age too! I'm a strong believer in never being too young for anti-aging creams! I've been using them since I was 18. Which is why I'm proud to say I'm almost 28 and wrinkle free! That's one thing I'll toot my own horn on, photographers don't have to photoshop the daylights out of my face...it doesn't need it!
Drink 64 ozs of water a day, stay out of the sun and tanning booths, don't smoke, lay off the alcohol and take off your makeup before bed! Get a good face wash also :)
With foundation and powder, I use Sally Hansen Natural Beauty. It's natural makeup with full coverage without the mineral garbage that doesn't cover so well.Get 6-8 hrs of sleep also, it matters!

Q: How did you get started modeling ?

A: I majored in photoghraphy in college the first time around.I would stand in for students to test lighting and also when they needed a model. It kinda snowballed from there with me doing some local things here and there.So I've been doing this off and on since about 2000.

Q: Who does your hair, makeup & wardrobe for photo shoots ?

A: I do all of that stuff myself. I own all of the clothes you see in my photos, and styled my own hair and makeup. I actually look like this on a daily basis.I've been into the red lipstick and liquid eyeliner since I was in the 9th grade.
I'm self-taught with vintage hairstyles.I just went by photos and the old movies I watch.It took practice but I consider myself a bit of a whiz now with it.

Q: Where do you find the clothes at ?

A: I tend to buy actual vintage clothing. I frequent flea markets, antique shops and antique malls. I do buy reproduction clothing here and there if I haven't been able to luck up on the real thing,but considering the cost of it and that everyone else is being photographed in it, I try to hold out on the real thing most of the time.I don't deal with ebay except for a couple of sellers,because I trust they have the real thing and Etsy.com is also great. Places like Goodwill, they tend to not have stuff that old.You'll mostly find stuff in there from the 70s and 80s that have vintage cuts,but the colors and materials are all wrong! I suggest research to know how to spot the real thing.

Q: Do you have signed prints for sale?

A: Yes, I do! I only have certain ones but with others, I can direct you to the photographer for a print and they can send it to me to sign. If you have a magazine I'm in that you would like signed, all you have to do is send me the magazine with a post office money order for the cost it will be for me to ship it back to you, signing it is free! So just contact me with more info ;)

*sigh*....I'm really tired of having to post these, but here we go again!

IF YOU WANT TO ADD ME, THEN TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!

1. I won't add your company...So stop sending me these types of requests.

2. I have bands blocked from adding me for a reason. You're not the exception, so don't ask me to add you or check out your songs, I won't check them out at all, just being honest here.I'm not the least bit interested.

3. I'm not here to be some networking mecca. I've been on here since 2003, hence the size of my friends list. That being said, I also don't collect friends or accept every request that I recieve.If I did, my friends list would be an even dumber amount of "friends" than it is already.

4. SEND ME A MESSAGE!!!! You'd be suprised at how much mail I don't get on here. It's just a bunch of friends requests that I'll add if I see fit, then I never see their page again or hear from them. So why are you adding me?

8. THANK YOU FOR WANTING ME TO MODEL FOR YOU, BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND, PHOTOGRAPHERS AREN'T HERE TO WORK FOR FREE AND UNLESS YOU'RE PAYING ME, I CAN'T PAY THEM.
* I do well enough to where I either get paid or I work with photographers for trade. That changes when you need these photos for commercial use; they'll expect to be paid since their service will allow you to get more business by the way of better photos and by using a real model.The time and hassle of ME finding someone to work for you for free, while I work for you in trade for some hair bows...is totally not worth my time. I tend to make my own floral hair pieces anyways.I'd rather just buy something from you that I really like and would really wear, then if I ever get photographed in the product,I'll send you a customer photo or tag your company in the photo if I upload it on this site. Otherwise, it's a lot of trouble & I'm far from needing the exposure.-Thanks for understanding! ( Please don't solicit me either for business.I'll come to you if I'm interested)

I joined Facebook

I joined Facebook. I don't love it, it's actually very slow and somewhat boring but I wanted something that wasn't drenched in fake friends, companies,etc. I had no interest in making another profile on here under my real name....I'm not two people and I always found that ridiculous ( no offense ). So yeah...

If we're REAL friends outside of the internet, we're related by blood or marriage, we went to High School together, College together, you're a photographer or artist I've worked with, a model I've styled, etc. Then please...add me on there, I'd love to keep in touch with you.

If you're a company, a friend whore, someone I don't even talk to, then just keep me on here so I don't have to feel like the bad guy for denying your friend request.It may be the internet but I'd still feel like a total asshole. So please spare me that feeling..HAHAHA!!!!
