Question: Say you pre pay for $20 in fuel...your pumping you gas a then the damn thing starts the countdown to $20 at $19.67........19.68 etc......etc.........Can someone tell me why the fuck they cant just stop it at $19.99 or hell even $19.95. That I can deal with, what the hell is the 30 cent countdown shit? Do they think I'm gonna decide to run back in the store and spend more money? Its really a pain when it 12 damn degrees outside.
Just a thought.......

Will be avaliable Nov. 20th
We will have it for sale at the Wormy Dog on Nov. 21st
We have heard the entire record and are all pleased with how it turned out (or at least as pleased as a musician can be with their own work).
Now the next step is to sell as many as possible and get everyone to start calling the radio stations and telling folks about this album. So this is the part where fans do the work, word of mouth is where its at, add our songs so you own personal myspace page, or facebook or whatever your thing is. Help us by posting bullitens and sending e-mails to your friends. So start now and get people to stop by our myspace page and listen to the songs and drop us a line, tell us what you like. It helps us to promote the record if we have a good idea of which songs people like best.
Wormy Dog........Nov. 21st.........Be There
peace....KP

Thats right I wore a pair of jeans 4 days. Put them on Thursday mourning, played a solo acoustic gig Thursday night. Friday I wore the jeans to do trick or treat with my kids and left right after and hauled ass to Altus where the band and crew were already set up and waiting on me to get there. The show was good, loaded out...got in the van and drove for 3 hours...woke up put the jeans back on and headed out for another solo acoustic gig Saturday night....its was a fun show and I got to be a costume judge.....after the show I slept in a chair, woke up and drove to the studio for a few last minute vocals on the new album. Got home Sunday around 8pm....took off those fuckin jeans and passed out......I have found that drinkin 4 days is bad.....playin 4 days make you old and wearing the same jeans 4 days in a row is awesome (thats a joke)....
Alot of other shit happend over those 4 days but nothing weirder than wearin jeans for that long. I guess it may not seem so bad to just wear jeans for that long but I dont just wear 'em, I drive all day.....haul gear in and out of some damn bar, hang out in that bar all night smokin and drinkin, drive some more.........maybe take them off for a few hours of sleep but just wake up and put them right back on.....I even showered once or twice over those days but puttin dirty jeans on a clean ass dosen't make much sence.
By the way the new album SHOULD be avaliable at our Wormy Dog show Nov. 21st with Kevin Fowler.............................I'll be wearing clean jeans.
Peace.....KP

Started my new weekly acoustic gig last night.....Good times, good people.....for the most part.
Right toward the end of my second set I say on the mic "Ok, what's next? any request?" and this little sawed off fucker standing at the juke box just yells in a shitty tone "take a break" .......you can tell he has short man syndrome but what can I do, I cant start shit somewhere that I am gonna be playing every week so I just take me a break. But as I put my guitar down my pride kicks in and I think fuck it, I'm gonna go talk to this asshole. So I do and I'm pretty much just being overly nice and gettin under his skin thinkin that he'll get brave and one of my friends will break his neck.....come to find out he wanted me to stop so he could play Bon Jovi (Bon Jovi is OK but common, what a fag) And this is a middle aged county kind of guy so I dont know what his problem was with Hank, CDB and me....... Plus he said "we'll I'm gonna play about 10 songs so....."
I had half a mind to see if I could put that litte fucker IN the juke box head first. But like I say....there is one asshole in every crowd and for some reason they want to be shitty to the band (ask any musician, they'll tell you the same)......maybe cause they wished they could play, maybe cause the pussy that they're tryin to load is paying more attention to me than to him or maybe he just misses his mommys titty........I dont know but if that same guys shows up again and pops some shit off at me while I'm playin then I'm gonna put a $1,000 guitar up his ass and go home.
The staff at the place was great and told me if I wanna play then play and if I want them to ask that dude to leave then just say so.....but I figure I was better off just shootin some pool and hangin out while he hears his songs that make him fell like he has a bigger dick than he really does.
Whatever man...rock-n-roll and here's to the assholes........peace.........KP

OK - So after College Fest in Stillwater we rolled to the motel hung out a while and passed out. The next mourning everyone rolled out of the rooms and gathered in a line on the balcony to smoke and bull shit some before everyone heads out. So there are about 10 or 12 of us....some band, some friends and some people I didn't know.
Downstairs these 2 chicks were gettin ready to leave, they are putting stuff in their car and putting up with whatever smart ass shit one of would say. They get in the car give a cute little wave begin to back up and BANG............thats right they hit the van. All us us that saw it started laughing our asses off...you could tell they were a little embarrassed. So they get out look at their car, get back in and just leave.......no "sorry" , no offer to pay for any damage......nothing.....and all the time all us the band and crew are still laughing out loud. Some of us even know these chicks. So that makes it worse.
Anyway...there was no damage to the van and minor damage to their car. If was fuckin funny man....it even would have been funny if there was damage to the van.
SO - To the two chicks that hit the band van (and yes I know who you are) What the hell are you thinkin...you can't hit a vehicle and just leave....did you hear me say "don't worry about it"? i dont think so. But you made us laugh and thats worth alot in my book.............we were laughing with you...........no, not really....we were laughing at you.
You now have to buy me a Jack and Coke. A big one.
Peace.........KP

Friday night in Tulsa.....got home at 5:30am.....got a little sleep. Headed to Norman for the Sat show and I look in the rear view and all I see is smoke (not from insided the van) coming from under the van. So we pull over on the side of the interstate and start makin calls...meanwhile we sat on the side of the road for damn near 2 hours and it was hot as hell....and to make it worse not one damn person stopped to see if we needed help. We finally got someone to bring us a new ride so we could pull the trailor to the show, and got a buddy with a wrecker to come get the van and we made it to the show just in enough time to set up and play. It was yet again another very long weekend. rock-n-roll
By the way - the van is fine, it is just some hose that leaked our transmission fluid. pretty easy fix. it should be rollin by the weekend.

I'll try to make its as shorts as possible....
On the way to Wichita Falls, TX for a show. We blow out a trailor tire, we cant find the tire tool for the trailor. Someone pulls over and gives us a tool....we change the tire but the spare is half flat (fuck)....Trav to the rescue....Trav is on his way with a proper spare so we drive on the low tire to the next station and air it up....we proceed down the road (at 45mph) until Trav catches up with us and we pull over and change the damn tire again. By the way the blow out destroyed the fender on the trailor (we left it in the ditch).......we make it to Wichita Falls by show time....
The show.....its hot as hell and we are all aready hot and dirty. During the intro jam Jimmy breaks a string (shit)....so his guitar if fucked and we only have a 45 min. set.....another band loans Jimmy a guitar while Trav put a new string on Jimmys guitar....Trav looks down and is standing in a red and bed....(yes he was bitten)....Jimmy changes back to his guitar and its still out of tune and its hard to see a tuner in the blazing sun. Jimmy finally gets stright by the last few songs.
Load up....we load our shit and get our asses back to Oklahoma. drop off the bass player in Duncan and discover something great..........Burger King has giant straws for milk skakes....sweet....
Home....we make it home, everyone says fuck you and we go our seperate ways.
Conclusion....2 trashed tires, one broken string, one rough set of music, around $50 in fuel, sweat, beer, hot ass sun = one tired ass band and a hell of an end to a weekend on the road. ROCK - N - Fuckin Roll........
by the way Trav is our booking guy and jack of all trades......

The new album "Dangerous" is on the way, it's taking us longer that we thought but we're tryin to get it right. We've decided to send the album to Houston, TX to be mastered. We should have a couple of tracks up on myspace in the next week or so and we will also have one out to radio soon so we'll be needing everyone to call and request it. Everyone involved with the record is working hard to make it the best it can be. What little bit we have left to record should be done over the next two weekends and then we'll just have to wait for the mixes to come back. So be patient and get ready to request whatever song we release to radio, 104 stations will get the single so it will take lots of request to get it on the charts. Peace...KP
Check back often for the single release.
