well well well!

HAHAHAHA! what!!! affie going......wait for it..... C A M P I N G!! yes. bloody camping.

Me and my Sian went camping okay! we went down t cuntry in deepest dorset, where people have flappy skins between them toes. And scarecrows exist, Alsorts mate I tell thee.

Weird thing is, most people who know me, or even those that dont have had a right giggle at the expense of wildman affie.

Okay,
there is a true story about me and the girl nearly burning down a campsite after 'I' Not girl, took a used BBQ and lobbed it into a industial plastic bin! BigGles Mistake! How the monkey was i meant to know that they last for a day!
well my freinds, we were awoken at 3.30am with fire engines screamin people etc etc.

So immediatley....!

We decided to hide the little burnt piece of grass outside our tent which clearly indicated that we indeed were the nearest "urban campers with a bbq that fukced up bigting"
AND
then as soon as it got light enuff, I threw that tent in the Gti, we winged it mate!
We survived, didnt get nicked, hopefully no one carked it..

Anyway, my mates generally find it funny that i chose this actitivity. On this last trip to cuntry i had a superb time. I got drunk ( a rarity!) , I put up the tent perfect! we walked, we puffed, and we caused a little bit of trouble, but not much.
The only thing that was missing was the cuntry aspect. I mean if i had been packing my piece we could of shot a few rabbits. If i had a fishing rod i could of caught our dinner. get it? so next time i will bring my gun, and buy a fishing rod!

One interesting thing that amazed me was the technology of now. even tho i have been used to PCs/computers since i was a little twat , this camping mission really freaked me out.
I was sat their blazin away with the macbook, and some cool ipod speakers and logic in a bloody field. my dream! music in a tent in a field being made by me!
So I made a tune!

Anyway it was so cool that i am gonna do it again. If theres any people that fancy doing a proper cuntry mission, I mean takin some studio bits outside and producing a 12" with a view to release it, get in touch, but you have to be commited. and Mental.
and have transport your own tent etc.

As a few people know, I had AC power proper in my cars yonks ago. But then i had to take a laptop,synth,mixer etc and it did drain the batterys if u werent carefull.
but now! with the alien speaker technology we have, the alien Core technology, all we need is some nutty aliens to do this mad tentmusic productions.

anyone who can be arsed, please leave some feedback for the other person reading this!lol

Ello again

I have done something kinda new last friday nite. I went out to a nite called kingpin in bristoil with speakerjunk on gig  STRAIGHT!!!

Firstly the gig was wicked,  had a good response, but onto the topic.

I have done so many drugs and i am not proud at all,  WHO WOULD!
they basically messed me up bigggtyme.

so i have not really partied straight before.

Man. it was like being "super clear". you see a different perspective, a really good feeling. Yes i know Es help you get on the groove train quickly.  But by doing that,  you end up dancing to some shyt that in a straight state would have you laughin you head off! Not gurnin for england to some guff tracks!

I got into this whole music scene very quite young, before bloody house music. I didnt take Es cause they werent about in 84!  But man,  i was into music bigting. did not need drugs!

anyway, i had a good nite totally clear,  still felt ruff, but i think that is expected at my age. cause of lack of sleep etc. I cant sleep when i see the sun..weird even tho i am knackerd, just cant drop off, even with valium.

So the moral of my post is to say that thier is hope for all!!! lol!
Go quit taking shyty pills. mum dad, and uncle farkin Charlie! sodd em mate. Go straight.
you can go out to a party straight..
its like a new drug that i aint had before,  its super clean. no comedown. You can eat, sleep, talk, walk, not look like a turnip, and its FREE! lol! and is with you all the bloody time.

As a producer/dj for a long time now,  I think that the sonic representation your hear on X maybe fat,  but its not real guys. Its the drugs! I discoverd that the tracks i hear when off my barnet are my own tracks made up in my mind with the aid of a loud PA playin some bass heavy trax. But a few times have been caught out by hearing them straight and not being nearlly as blown away.

anyway, I am glad i maybe able to continue to visit clubs without the drugs.


(by the way if you have never had Mdma and you have no severe allergy problems in general, I would buy some and try it at your nearest wicked nite)

but understand, a lot of the lifestyle associated with the scene is as fake as the buzz your on.

good music is good music, and allways will be, with or without bloody drugs.
or is it just a pure co incidence that almost all the best music has been made by those with slightly mashed up minds......

Dont take my word for it, check it yourself.
 from the Jazz,be bop, blues,soul,disco,house,groove, rock whatever.


But I have had my lot. especially since my brain injury 3 yrs ago,  The hospital says my old uncle charlie had something to do with that one.
So at least ease up on the white.

If there is anyone out there that is on a drugs roll,  enjoy it please!
but know when to jump off.


Anyway, deep sunday is in full swing,  and I am blazin listening to some rare groovez!

hi dudes

As most of u will now know, i have been recovering from my illness for the last 3 yrs, life is coming back together.
one of the things that is still plaguing me is my memory. ( probablly you as well ) but i dont really feel that i have been releasing records etc for the last 15 odd yrs, I feel like a fish outta water, but fuck i can still swim.lol!

anyway back to subject, I have recentley got back into a passion of mine from when i was a wee little twat. GRAFF! GRAFFITI ART, whatever you wanna call it.
I used to be a writer folks, a graff writer, I done trains, subways, walls, buildings, hell i even done people.lol! really! almost as mental as tagging a horse (some sick fcuk has acually done this =o )
I used to really enjoy this 'hobby' until i got old enuff to be into girls/going out, then graff took a back seat, Also i was gettin old enough to be nicked proper.
well, me and my mate asher from the hood decided to have a get together and have a sesh.
Man, when my hands touched the can, i smelled the paint, all these wicked memorys started to come back, of a life forgotten....My Life.

sometimes people, we gotta go back to go forward. but remember the past is the past and we have an incredible future, right NOW. If we want it.

I am trying my fcuking best to do what i used to do, Make fat tunes, and play etc, hopefully with my new re-found passion for graff it will kick some dormant nuero transmitter into action and i will finally get back on trax.

To anyone who has bothered to read this entry, thanks! i may just keep writing.

I feel the life i have witnessed so far has been interesting, only if i can remember.

hi guyz

Just thought I shall let u guys know why there has been only 2 releases from us in almost 3 years.  In April 2003 Affie Yusuf (me) fell ill with 'Cerebral Vasculitis in Brain' also Encephalitis.  These are two very nasty scary  illnesses that i really dont wanna waste any more time on.
 One day after partying at the Egg in London I ended up In West Middlesex Hospital completely MASH OP.. I didnt know my wife Sian! who is Jack? Whats house music, ooops! I cannot walk! TALK! gettit?  Some heavyweight Thing this was.  Sian took 3 months of work to feed,wash,dress me. These were difficult times. Okay, 2 years  into the future.
 I have since that day been recovering. I had to learn what 'Logic and Cubase' meant?? WTF is a plug in? doh! but my merry bunch of electrons, I learnt all my skills again,  and along with surviving this illness, i am back, to do what I have been doing for the last 18 Years. LIVE! and ENJOY. Unite Electronic music lovers, and Again, release good music from all...thats my goal, any help is appreciated.
Its been heavy dudez, very very.
