Well the last week has finally taken its toll...between work and a spike in the intake of body toxins my couch seems the only likely respite.
We have been working on new tunes between golf swings and trying to perfect the grill and with all the impending free time we can only try and ride this wave as long as humanly possible. Speaking of human...check out The Killers live at Albert Hall - amazing.
If I dont see you before Christmas im sure I will at some point walking the streets of Ol'Sydney town chasing day through night...Peace

In celebration of our single launch last Sunday night we are giving away our wicked RAC remix of 'Need To Know' to all our lovely myspace peeps (just click the download icon on the music player), think of it as Christmas come early. We are going to hook up with the DJ again in the New Year...

So here goes....upon a foolish whim a friend and I decided to go rock fishing at 4:30 in the am this morning off North Heads (somewhere in Sydney) where rusty chains are used to scale cliff faces. 5 1/2hrs later, three hooks, a squid jig, four cups of coffee, one packet of original premium crackers (unbelievable) and 2 cans of lemonade we only caught a couple yellow tail...for all those out of the loop (myself included) these poor little guys are used as live bait...so really we caught niente/nada/nic/nista/nicht. Definitely a patience game my friends!
Anyway, sometime soon after we dropped into our production house to pick up our limited edition EP Digipak (five boxes full!)...these are a one off print to be sold at our shows...speaking of, our Debut Single Launch is this Sunday (Nov 29) at Oxford Art Factory!!
We have rehearsal tonight so I may indulge in a little siesta...

Last night was a great night at Oxford Art Factory...and for all those decked out in white we pay our respect! We did lose a shaker though... Today we finalise graphics in time for production of our debut single limited edition digipak release...Been listening to our remix all weekend (Andrew you are a legend). Well...last Sunday night was interesting for anyone who ventured down to our show...
Two songs in to our set the plug was pulled and Nick (drummer) had to sit out watching us from the bar! Four double vodka's with lime ensured that the show would go on... so in a Deer Republic first the rest of the set was semi-acoustic (we should probably rehearse for something like that in the future). Nevertheless we powered through the set knowing full well that this Sunday we will blow the roof off!!
On a side note...if the sun keeps shining like today nothing will get done!

Ok...so i've spent the last two weeks buying all the necessary gear off ebay to kick start a studio in my garage...the last package arrived this morning!! Now I have to read all the manuals I have been avoiding. The silly thing is it would have never come to this if my phone had enough memory!!
Anyway, its a good way to fire up for the first Sunday of our residency and Oxford Art Factory this week...
