Life, she has the amazing ability of changing your course whether you want her to or not. Some people heed these changes, others unfortunately never do. My past experiences have taught me that if you don't learn and execute the important skill of adaptation, life will be a very hard thing to stomach. She'll eat you for breakfast and crap you into the trash can, straight up. I consider myself a student of adaptation, not an expert. I do it to the best of my abilities and sometimes it does require a sacrifice from the things I love to do i.e, spending time with the wifey, with my little seeds, my soldiers, my art, my music. In my opinion it is a skill we never truly master but one that we always learn from. One that we should desire to perfect as one does a game of pool. Necessity truly is an easy thing to recognize when it affects you. Those that don't need, or never have needed, would never be able to recognize or understand what I am talking about. To those people, I toast you with a Molotov. We dedicate our music to those who know what it is to need, but not always get.
Necessity + adaptation = survival. It doesn't get more basic than that.
In conclusion, we're back up in this mother so keep an eye out for our shows. We never left, just adapted, evolved, and ultimately survived. We'll be spacing our shows out a bit more to allow time for our many other musical projects as well. Projects we can't wait to fire your way, as well as new ish from NC. Luke and I appreciate each and every one of you that have supported us since the beginning. Thanks for it all! We'll be coming to a stage near you.
