Rocket Surgery is considering a big change soon: Expansion.

While the past 3 years as a duo have been excellent, we're considering heading in the other direction. I'm thinking the addition of a string section, horn section, choir section, altered bass, and perhaps noise electronics.

It'd be a little duration before we'd be ready to get this rolling - this is just a broadcast of interest to see who (if anyone) might like to participate.

Practices would be in Montclair NJ, mark's basement (about 40min from nyc - i travel there by bus... if you live in Montclair, all the better), most likely on a set day of the week. While reworking some existing songs is a possibility, the effort would largely be in new material: some scored and some worked out otherwise. Atom Heart Mother-esque prog and classical avant-garde would be stylistic starting points.
