It's been over a year since we posted a blog. We've been so busy this last year... We helped our human's remodel our house. We have stayed close to home, the furthest we traveled was to the Tri-Cities, WA.
Wonderful big news, our family got extended to 6 now. It's now, Mom, Dad, Cooper, Kenzie (me), Boone & our newest member Brendan. He was born at the end of June, and is of the 2-legged kind. So far he is a member of our pack. Boone brings him toys, and I (Kenzie) love to lick his little face when he spits up and comes home from the store. Mom and dad couldn't be happier to have him in our lifes. Don't worry, they still take us places too and treat us just as good.
I am running for President for the Canine Party. I stand for flee medication for all, No Dogs left outside act, the choice to spay/neuter, eliminate the Axis of Evil, Feed the poor puppies (Bacon for all), and more. I hoped you vote for me Nov. 4, 2008.

Hey everyone,
We thought we'd do a quick update to let people know what's going on. We've recently moved into a new home in the Seattle area and it's needed a LOT of fixing up. So we're doing fun things like installing new floors and walls among other great activities.
Anyway this has left little time for keeping in touch with all of our friends and creating new videos. We hope to get things to calm down soon so we can get back to a normal life.
The new place just happens to be a block away from a lake and we have our own little private area to go hop in the lake and fetch tennis balls. It's been a blast, but sadly we only get to do it about once a week.
Summer is quickly coming to an end, so maybe we'll make it a daily thing if possible.
On a sad note, our cousin Dugan passed away on Sunday. We're very saddened as it happened so suddenly. Please take time to mention him in your prayers, we miss him so much already.
With love,
Kenzie and Boone

We arrived home on April 29th at 3:30 AM. As you can imagine, after being away for a month, we missed home just a little bit. So we did our best to get home just a day quicker than we had originally planned.
The drive began in Chicago on the 26th where we stopped by the United Center to see if we could get a peak at the statue of Michael Jordan. Sadly the arena was completely fenced off and we were unable to get in and get an up-close view.
From there we made our way in bumper to bumper traffic to St. Louis. After 4 to 5 hours, we saw the Gateway Arch in the distance. We arrived at our hotel and waited until the next morning to go to the Arch. We first stopped by the Busch Stadium where the World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals play. There was an actual game going on and when walking around towards the outfield entrance, we noticed we could actually peak in and see the pitcher, catcher and hitter.

We woke up in Arlington, ate breakfast and took the Metro (in travel bags) to the Federal Triangle, not far from the White House. Before going to the White House, we first stopped at the Washington Monument and there we met Sue, a Scottie owner from the DC area. She gave us a tour around the White House providing interesting anecdotes along the way.

Happy April Fool's Day everyone!
Our day started out in Phoenix where we needed to take the car into the shop to get the tire repaired since it got a flat last night. The mechanic told us to come back in 2 hours and it'll be done. We came back about 1 hour and 45 minutes later only to find that they hadn't started on fixing our van.

What a day we had today. We started off around 9 AM in Beaver, Utah and drove south to Zion National Park. We'd been through there last year on our trip from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City and it was just as beautiful this year as last. Click here to continue reading

We woke up early (7 AM Boise time) this morning to pack, eat some food, meet up with Leta and head to St Luke's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House. It was a lot of fun. We had security badges made for our pet therapy session and got to meet some wonderful people at St. Luke's and at the Ronald McDonald House. Click here to continue reading.

After a 2 hour delay because we needed to have the radiator replaced in the van, we left from our little ol' home just south of Seattle. Not only were we delayed and expected to get into Boise originally at 11 PM, but we forgot to account for time zone changes.

Letter from the White House!!!
Here's the video about it.
We got a signed (Paw Printed) photo from Barney, Miss Beazley, & Willie (the cat) today! It also included a lovely note from Barney, mentioning our Valentines Cards and our care package. It had a few things that I love (like my Nylabones). We tried to keep within the rules of what to send to the White House so they would actually get to them. You know 4 legged kind have security detail too! Gotta be safe (no food, no flowers)!
Still no mention of arranging a date or time for us to come visit them. Maybe they are waiting to invite us after we tell them when we will be coming? From our packed driving schedule, it looks like April 12- 14th we will be in Washington, DC. If that does not work out for them, we will be in Texas from April 2-4th, we could swing by the ranch! Either way, we'd love to see them both.
March 29 - April 30: 10,000 miles of fun across the USA. (click to see where we are going) Feel free to write to me about places of interest, or if you would like to meet me (& Boone). If you see us in your town, just howl at us to say Hi! Looking forward to seeing some of you along the way.

Valentine's Day has come and gone and still no word from Barney, Miss Beazley or anyone else at the White House. We're currently working on finalizing the details of our trip back East so if anyone wants to meet us along the way, you'll be able to see what city we're in on what day. Not much else is going on other than that right now.
Thanks to everyone for their continued support!
