Hope all is well.  Would like to let you know that I am starting a tap company - TransRhythm Tap.  It is based in River Forest (not far from Chicago!) and will be open to levels of intermediate tappers though professional.  There will be a second company TRT2 that will cater primarily to the intermediate tapper, so don't be afraid to audition!  You can find all the info you need at our new website and don't forget to download an audition packet. 

Auditions are January 6th with an audition workshop (not required) on January 5th.

Lessons are 1 hour long; Time lost due to being late can not be made up.

Minimum 24 hour cancellation policy.  Lesson may be rescheduled with 24 hour notice.  Less than 24 hour notice will result in a "No Show," and lesson time will be considered used.

The instructor holds the right to reschedule at any time due to bookings.  You will be given at least 24 hours notice of any rescheduling.

Audition BAM!

A choreography project by Lane Alexander

Who:                   Advanced and professional level tap dancers with additional training in                              either Modern, Jazz, or Ballet. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.         

Where:       Porchlight Lincoln Studio, 2814 N. Lincoln (at Diversey and Racine)

When:        Sunday, December 10th       10am – 1pm     

What:         A repertory company that performs locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Opportunities to travel to Germany, Brazil, and China! Frequent educational performances at Chicago area schools, presented by Urban Gateways, a nonprofit arts education organization. Bring tap shoes, jazz shoes or sneakers (clean), photo, and resume.

v   Looking for 4 – 6 ensemble members and 2 apprentices.

v   Must be available for rehearsals Wednesday nights and/or Sunday nights and at least two half days a week for school performances. Additional performances possible.
