"Conquer", a song I recorded with my band AUGUST (www.myspace.com/augustrocks), will be in the upcoming film Skatin' 66. It's about a guy who roller skates on Route 66 from Chicago, IL to Santa Monica, CA and along the way he visited children hospitals, bringing the kids smiles as he roller skated in and out of their rooms, giving them toys and just talking to them. "Conquer" is also in the short film "Reason to Believe" by Suenos Rotos Productions. They also have a full length film premiering in 2009, "Seven Ways", and they're using my song "Passion" by my other band JACAR (www.isound.com/jacar www.garageband.com/jacar).

I co-wrote two new songs with my cousin who has a latin band. These are my first songs i've written in spanish and thanks to my mom for helping me with the translation. I'm excited to see Chantal Kreviazuk and her husband Raine Maida (lead singer of  Our Lady Peace) perform in August! They are great singer/songwriters. I sang her song "Feels Like Home" at a wedding recently. GREAT SONG! www.myspace.com/chantalkreviazuk
