We had come from a far away land. The first things we saw at the Hörnerfest were the great heat and the great amusement of those who met us at the entrance. They were really surprised that we came by cars directly from Russia. As we came to consciousness a bit and arranged our tents, the evening began and the camping turned into a medieval town. We felt ourselves to travel into the past by a dozen of centuries.
We were amazed with the costumes, with the bands on stage, and with the fairy fair with a load of pretty stuff and many horns for both playing and drinking.
We have never taken part in or even seen such a venue before since there are no such venues in Russia. Everything was above our best expectations. We could not even imagine meeting so many remarkable people... so now after four days and 2000 km of the way back home we are still there at the Hörnerfest.
We will never forget this perfect party and its perfect arrangement and the real magic of the festival. We brought you our music and got the great experience and great supply of positive energy that will inspire us in making new songs, both live and recorded. See you again at the venue! You are the best audience we have ever seen!
Thanks to Thomas and the crew for perfect organization, thanks for all the bands for playing, thanks for all who came to the Hörnerfest for being there and Special Thanks to Jens (you are really GREAT, man) and all of "Kitchen People"!

There is a new frontman in Wolfmare. Why could that happen? The time goes on and the band changes. In these hard times, the only way is to be harder in music, stronger in sound and more brutal in vocal. That is the way, but if we go this way, he who will lead us must be best of best. So we proudly resent our new vocalist, said to be number 1 of Russian growlers, Ruslan "James" Anisimov. The new material we had composed for the third album requires brand new approach to the vocal parts and we consider this as right and natural development. Our friend and ex-vocalist Alexey Redin claims that he comfortably commends his part in Wolfmare to one so professional and strong. He is going to develop his own theatrical projects outside the realm of heavy music. “Maybe some of Wolfmare will take a part in these projects, but it is yet another story” (end quote).

Our music sounds more and more all-dimensional. This is achieved by increasing the number of instruments used. Now added to our sound are Gaita Gallega, Great Highland Bagpipe, celtic harp, didgeridoo, Maultrommel, and… In fact, we even can not imagine what will come next to His mind. He - this is our new Orchestra Man, Roman Belotserkovski.

The 5th anniversary of a band is a very significant date. It is still too young to die, but may become too old to rock'n'roll (special thanks to Jan Anderson from Jethro Tull for the view) if nothing is changed. It is a date when a kind of initiation is needed as a child needs to be initiated to become a man. So the initiation happened. It came with the contract from CCP Records, which means that the local band Wolfsangel is no more and there is a European band.... called Wolfmare. Certainly, when a child becomes man he also finds his name. So there are no angels at the childhood end, but the wolves are still here.... as well as the dream, the mirror, the mirage where angels live. The ancient word Mare.... The king is dead, long live the king! Give no sorrow to the childish name, welcome the new band! Let me remind that the first album of Wolfmare called Whitemare Rhymes will be released by CCP in November.
