Hey there guys and gals,


Well, as you may have heard or guessed, I have some bad news for you all.............

After 6 years of rockin' and rollin' Rounding 3rd has come to the end of the road. Singer/guitarist Daniel VanKirk has decided to leave the band and pursue other ventures in Los Angeles, CA.

I have no regrets whatsoever about the things that this band has accomplished in it's time. In fact, I'm very proud of it. We've released 5 CDs and a DVD, toured the east coast and midwest regions several times, played the Warped Tour, met some of the coolest people, played with many top-notch artists, shared the stage with the greatest local and regional bands around, and built a solid fan base out of the THE BEST fans and supporters EVER. Without you guys, NONE of what we've done would be possible, and we appreciate you all so much.


As for the rest of us, Rusty and I aren't going anywhere. At the moment, we're dealing with the emotions of the situation at hand. But once the waters calm and the smoke clears you can bet we'll be rockin' your socks off again. We have no idea what opportunities this breakup will bring, but we will welcome them all with open arms.

In addition, I will finally be pursuing some of my producing aspirations. Through-out my time with Rounding 3rd I've been blessed enough to have met some very inspiring people that have taught me a great deal about many different fields of music. And now I am ready to pass that knowlege on to someone else. I have a few projects on the back-burner right now that I'm very interested in working on and I will keep you all informed of their progress.

If you or your band are interested in talking with me about possibly working together on production, please feel free to email me anytime. I'd love to lend me ear out to anything you've got, and see what I can help you with.
