Just something I made in my spare time...

Current mood: contemplative
Category: Writing and Poetry
Here is a collection of my poems:A Measure of Worth~
Anything worth taking the time to say should be worth taking the time to listen to.
Anything worth taking the time to listen to should be worth taking the time to say.
Hence, the deaf and the mute coexist peacefully. (03/26/2007)
Finality~
Broken roads, Broken hearts, Broken bridges all beg for new starts.
Forgiveness is key, forgive and forget. Forgive whom you hate and you will be blessed.
Another day, another breath and life goes on 'til greeted by death.
He's gonna be there, He's waiting, its true, Always know that Death is coming for you. (01/03/2009)
Unfinished~
I like to write poems, I like it alot. Sometimes it's easy, yet often it's not.
A difficult task at times it may be, But the reward is greater than all riches of the sea.r
Reading's a pleasure, but reading takes work. And work I'm not needing, but writing's a perk. (03/01/2007)
Time~
Some of these poems I wrote long ago, But they'll never get old; This much I know.
Time passes by, and people think differently. But they'll read my poems and remember lividly things of the past and things long gone. People they've met as time has moved on. Places they've been with memories to cherish, wishing upon everything those memories never perish.
And yet here I sit, a pen in hand, recalling memories from that oh so distant land. (03/01/2007)
An Angel~
Can humans wear halos like the angels above? If not, then with an angel I am in love.
So flawless, so majestic in all of her ways, with her, and her alone I'd spend all of my days.
She's stunningly beautiful, graceful and smart. She is a Masterpiece, a True Work of Art.
I'll ask for her hand with all due respect, and hope against hope she does not neglect my most generous offer, a ring for her hand...
But what to expect? (03/01/2007)
The Flame(Received Editor's Choice Award from Poetry.com)~
Do you like candles? Perhaps you do. I am crazy about candles, obsessed, I am, too.
The warm, effervescent glow that is emitted is enticing. Dazed, I sit gazing upon this droplet of flamed icing.
Alluring and Seductive are of its ways. I aspire to examine this fire for a great many days.
Exploring the secret of this enthralling light will demand that I study through all hours of night. (03/26/2007--03/27/2007)
Mental Tempest (My Personal Favorite)~
In the quiet, in the stillness, in the toils, You are there. In the Ocean, in the Sky, in the Earth, You are there. When I'm angry, when I'm sad, when I'm confused, You are there. When I'm awake, when I'm sleeping, when I'm wondering, You are there. But I ask myself, if I close my eyes, will I see You standing right there? Standing right in front of me Broad as daylight, helping me through my most defiant struggles? An Angel sent from God, A Bringer of Miracles, and I close my eyes to your magnificent beauty. So now, I shall try, In the quiet, in the stillness, in the toils, open my eyes. In the Ocean, in the Sky, in the Earth, open my eyes. When I'm angry, when I'm sad, when I'm confused, open my eyes. When I'm awake, when I'm sleeping, when I'm wondering, open my eyes. So that when the time comes, and I close my eyes again, I can picture You in my head, Your divine beauty, and remain sovereign in all My problems. May You be a light unto the world. And if you help the world like you've helped me God should rest, because you'll solve all their problems. And I'll embark to the sea.
Drifting...
Drifting...
My eyes closed. (No Date)

I like it... and unless I ask for your opinion... don't give it.
