They're done! Yes! The recordings we began in March are all finished, oh miracle of miracles. Mixed and mastered, even, in a real studio! We'll get the cds in our hot little hands tomorrow....
We've just uploaded some of the new songs to our page for you all to hear! The cd itself will soon be available via CD Baby.
Love Scotia

Hey folks... We're playing fewer shows over the next three months while we focus our energy, time and attention on recording our very first LP! Recordings are happening in Radek's bunker studio, in the White Room, and in the Lighthouse on Bleak Street. There will be a magical mix of sounds ranging from live recordings, studio recordings and 4-track tape recordings to get some of that beautiful crackly old circus sound. Stay tuned for release date!

Our demo cd is out! Our demo release show on June 15th was fun, we invited the "Palmer-Maler-Dziadur project" to do some of their crazy beautiful music before our set. It was a magical evening.... especially magical since it was our very first performance with the new member of our trio - drummer Rafal Kaczmarek. We're so excited to be playing with him now, and to be a real "trio" at last.
Copies of our cd are being sold at our shows. Our last show until the autumn was on July 14th, at "Pierwszy Lokal na Stolarskiej".... Two-thirds of the band are now rambling about somewhere in the hills of Romania, and won't be back until September.
Some shows in Prague in the fall are in the works.
*happy summer*

The recordings are coming along, one by one.
Mixes have been done on three circus theme songs ("Spectacolo," "Hala Targowa" and "Hybrid Smile") and on two reveries ("Las Wolski" and "The Empty Chair") with the help of Liam and Jarek at HQ Productions.

Even though Pawel Dziadur (who played insane, military-frenzied snare drum in our first performance in August) took off for London (to live in a squat?) "The Midnight Reverie" is STILL a trio....
The new, third member is Sonia's loop pedal!
Yes. Accordion + french horn + loop pedal = reverie.
We're working on stuff. We'll post recordings when we've done some. Please stay tuned.
