PRESENTATION OF "PENCILBREAK" BOOK AT DENSE
Pencilbreak is a big mashup of the best art and graphics inspired by
and for the digital hardcore subcultures we live and enjoy. This book
compiles fresh work from more than twenty international artists. All
of them share a similar feeling and passion for distorted sounds and
graphics. This book is meant to be an homage to Breakcore and other
styles of hardcore music and corresponding attitudes.

Featured artists: $atanik Mike Go Home, Devoner, Droon, Dzgnbio, Elzo,
Fighting, FFF, Ian Liddle, Inkcore, Jan Rohlf, Jinpow, Marco Microbi,
Neon Skullz, Niark1, Nikibi, Pastee, Pix-Hell, Plump Oyster, Raoul
Sinier, Sekitani, Sish Tick, Vida Loco...

The project will be presented within the performances by Computadora and
Karsten Pflum. In Dense at Petersburger Str 81, D-10247 Berlin. On
Sat. 12th of July, start at 20h. Entrance is free!

There, the book will on display and available for purchase. The
official release date is July 20th.

finally we..re through with the move.
after 5 happy years in prenzlauerberg we had to surrender to the emerging pressure of café-latte-hipsters, baby-clothing stores & raising rents and seek for a new environment. the new shop is directly located at the beauty of bersarin square..s roundabout - yes we..re in one of those buildings that seem to represent with their giant wall-climbing geckos the architectural clash of late east european-building dogma with heavy drug abuse.
easy to reach either via tram (we..re still at the m10-tram-line) or subway (via u5 - station frankfurter tor - 200m walk up north) we..re hoping all of you will like our new space and still stay dense!
come by and have a look & listen :)

From 25.1. - 3.2.2007 Dense did the official shop and merchandise sale for Club Transmediale. This year we got a beautiful shop interior designed by our friends from visomat inc. where they used special 50x50cm laminated styrofoam cubes for the counter and the relief. The temporary light sculpture was a work-in-progress by Joanie Lemercier / antivj and continuously developed during CTM . thanks for their great work :
