Hi, Friends!

Bones of the Dragon is the first book in a new series called Dragonships from Tor Books. This is the first new series Tracy Hickman and I have written in a long time and I hope you have a chance to check it out. The series is s fantasy odyssey, about the quest journey of Skylan Ivorson and his people the Vindrasi as they sail the seas in their dragonships. Their gods, the Old Gods, are being challenged by two sets of new gods, vying to take over the world. Of course, the humans, ogres, cyclops and other races are drawn into the heavenly war, as is our hero and his people. And the faery people are around to add to his problems.

Tracy and I had lots of fun writing this book. I hope you have as much fun reading it.

To all you Romance Readers,

The new romance novel written by myself and daughter, Lizz, is now out. It is called Fallen Angel and it's sexy and funny and exciting. It's about an unrepentant angel who has been living on earth for the last couple of thousand years. He's currently disguised as a priest, going around performing fake exorcisms. Unfortunately, during one of these, he encounters a real demon and barely escapes with his life.

His act catches the attention of a rock band manager named Natalia who hires him to perform his act during the concert. Turns out, however, that the lead singer has sold his soul to the devil. Like all parents used to say, rock and roll is truly sending fans straight to hell.

This book has everything from roadie demons, an old hippie ghost, and a dark-souled hero to a sexy heroine in penguin pajamas and a dormouse.

Plus the book's first chapter features a real-life adventure that happened to Tracy Hickman when we were on a book tour. A must-read!:)

This from music composer Karl Preusser:

First, I am very pleased to announce that my score soundtrack for 'DRAGONLANCE: DRAGONS OF AUTUMN TWILIGHT' on Lakeshore Records, is on the first ballot for a Grammy Award in three separate categories, including Best Score Soundtrack, Best Song in a Motion Picture ("Qualinesti Hymn"), and Best Engineered Album Non-Classical!

Needless to say, I am very excited and I am also stumping for votes (like we have not had enough of that lately)! If you know anyone in N.A.R.A.S. (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences), please forward this to them and get them to vote for us! If you, yourself are a member, then your vote would be greatly appreciated! We are up against some of the biggest films from last year and every vote counts!

I would like to give a shout out to Tracy Hickman (the co-author of the original book), who composed the lyrics for "Qualinesti Hymn". Also, to the Mila Vocal Ensemble and Musica Antiqua, who made the magic happen! Equally, a tip of the hat and a big thanks to my scoring mixer Michael Stern, the entire engineering crew, and everyone else involved with the film and score.
