well...a christmas show was just not in the cards....after LESLI's stunning announcement that she is returning to Portland....it seemed too important to trot out some "original Line-up" abortion for the holidays and have it come off half assed..

.our BAND MEETING...THE FIRST IN 25 YEARS...was more of a wine and cheese affair at JIM WALLACE and JULIE BERGSTROMS house. . they were very gracious to host the event and the spread got KUDOS from everyone....2 KUDOS...not 1, LOL...anyhuzen,,, HERES THE LASTEST POOP...in no particular order....a christmas show would have bombed anyway 1- PORTLAND is socked in..the worst snowstorm in 50 years... 2-the sale of LESLI'S L.A. mansion fell thru....know anyone with 2 mil lying around who wants to live behind the CHATEAU MARMONT between JIMMY KIMMEL and CAMERON DIAZ?...LESLI has her eyes set on a tudor style houst on MOUNT TABOR...but she is stuck in LA for now and a little down,,,,cheer her up by sending her a message on FACEBOOK.."LESLI ARBUTHNOT"

3=JIMI HASKET is back from asia where he performed for thousands of kids in an impromtu concert...also rode an elephant...

4-BUD (THE AMBASSADOR) ...THEATRE OF SHEEP touring drummer...is missing and presumed having fun....he has become the premiere drummer on the coastal bar circut...and is playing somewhere almost every night..hopefully he will be able to come on the TOS world tour as a co-drummer with ORIGINAL drummer BRAIN WASSMAN...who was at last months get together at the WALLACE houseold...

5- THEATRE OF SHEEP frontman and lyricist ROZZ REZABEK (thats me) will have angioplasty heart surgery on the 29th of DECEMBER...

6.....hopefully...if LESLI can sell her house, my surgery goes well, and JIMI is in the country...we can arrange and promote some kind of VALENTINE event..

7-the other option is to perform in a benefit for the JIMJIM CHASSE documentary film "ALIEN BOY"

For anyone who doesnt know or visit my other sites...heres the haps in a nutshell.....

THE DANDY WARHOLS have recorded an adaptation of the song I wrote that THEATRE OF SHEEP played back in the 80's...the song is called VALIUM-YUM YUM...and you can hear my version on the ROZZ REZABEK music site...the DANDIES re-wrote it for the most part but kept the essential hooks....thier version comes out in may...its over 7 minutes long and very psychedelic...and quite good in my opinion...

I also filmed a very minor role in the new DANA ROSEMUS film about early grunge stars THE OILY BLOODMEN and thier tragic demise...I played a tri-met bus driver and had four lines...there are some pictures of me on set at THE REZABEK LOG site in the album titled "MY PHOTOS" on page 11 ...yeah I have thousands of photos up...

unlike its name..slabtown was not a morgue..and the people there were anything but dead...it was a most beautiful mix of young and old..new friends and old...a lot of people hip to "the ReZaBeK LoG" blog site...

I made a crack about the "GuY FrOm CrEEd" and good twenty people hooted...they must have read some of the 450 plus blogs on my personal site..

I put up a slabtown slideshow on "RoZZ's INTERCONTINENTAL LOVE GUN LOUNGE" site...as well...thats one of the mainly satelitte music sites..allows me to have 50 songs up at once..I dont hang out on those sites or add friends...their just a jukebox type thing for loading various songs on..

ALSO ON THE "ROZZS INTERCONTINENTAL LOVE GUN LOUNGE" site I put the improv trilogy from track 20 of LOVERLEGENDLIAR availible for FREE DOWNLOAD...its a cool little spontaneous 3 song medley that was recorded on a four track in the LOVEGUNLOUNGE (my SF party pad on FULTON ST.)..just me and jimi riffing with a drum machine in 89 around the time right before the big earthquake

planning to get together with ZACH BLEI and do a good remix of "BLINGbling wilt like flowers..a hidden gem off the GIRL GROUP ...FRIDAY, SPANKY, and LYNDSEY LONDON...only Lyndsey ended up cutting any tracks..

rumour has it from a good source ..our now famous miss FRIDAY..will be coming thru town back from London where her modeling career has taken off..I put a couple of her most famous shots from THE DAILY TELEGRAPH in the picture album on "the rezabek log" site...titled "all the lovely dolls"..cant wait to see her..

I hope I see those fun gals Odessa and Lauren again..they were fun....and very easy on the eyes as well..i cant eat around hotties so i just had tea...LOL

i got a late night call last night..I was passed out and looked at the caller ID..it was this hottie I currently am gaga over.."Cool" i thought, a booty call maybe..so i answered and hear "theres someone who wants to talk to you" and before i could say "huh" a voice gets on the phone and says "hi rozz this is courtney taylor-taylor, how are ya man..do you still come out ..do ya want to maybe get together? how ya been?....
 "taylor-taylor?" i was still out of it and didnt connect the dots..
"are ya there?" said the voice on the other end.
  I struggled to form a coherent word but only a yawn came out...
 "I think he hung up" and then i heard sounds in the background .
 "taylor-taylor? I repeated as the line went dead. I pushed the phone under the pillow and went back to sleep. In the morning I saw another missed call from that number and it set in. I had been totally rude to a decidedly pleasant courtney taylor(i still dont get the taylor-taylor) and probably missed out on going to a party full of hot models and rock stars..Oh well, thats the story of my life..
    At least let me be man enough to admit I was a jerk and perhaps very wrong about him when I characterized him as a "conceited ,arrogant turd". He was gracious and sincere..I remember him from shows back in the day and perhaps typecast him based on one conversation I had with him where he told me three times how good looking he was in the course of 5 minutes.
    now I feel like I should revisit the dandy warhols music with an open mind and I just might like it too. everybody is a bit narcissistic in thier youth and I dont know why I am so quick to judge. Anyway, I'm sorry courtney, perhaps your a nice regular guy and not the horrid primadonna I imagined.

danger zone has got to take the number four slot from midnite serenade, its a better vocal performance.. i think "lucky ones should go back to number one ..its a bloody  existential epec ..though a tad long its nine minutes that will pound the message into your consciousness.."the lucky ones just live and die singing, I got the power" and it grooves like reggae but its not..it was jimi writing melody to a korg 55 beat..its got a sour note made sourer by superdigitals mastering,gotta get  rick to fix that , and on greyline..theres a stray drum beat preceding the song and an audible glitch..okay heres my conservative list. we start with GLAMOUR, our hit ..for one week on some regional reporting area,..if we had one ..glamour was how we started and ended each night with 500 plus kids screaming "NOW I WANNA BE LOVELY"at the top of thier lungs. the song talks about how marilyn comes to life again on the covers of the enquirir ever couple years when some new book or film about her surfaces...and its all about saying "Hey i do care about crucial issues, but this leather jacket is chaffing and i found this cool armani at goodwill, saving the world can wait while i have a latte and a clove cigarette and get dressy for no apparent reason". so after GLAMOURmaybe DANCING UNDERGROUND,hmmm,then 44 HAYES(WHICH SHOULD BE RETITLED 44 DAYS) WHICH IS THE WAY I SUNG IT TOWARDS THE END WHEN THE BAND GOT MORE POLISHED...
