Anthony Cruz is the nephew of late singer "GARNET SILK" and his soulful voice and classy attire have many people referring to him as one of the most charismatic entertainers. He is also a former member of 5th ELEMENT RECORDS alongside label mates RICHIE SPICE, CHUCK FENDER & ETANA who dominated the charts in the early 2000s. After five successful years he departed in September 2005 and started his independent recording label, Shanshan Music with popular singles such as "Never Too Much" featuring BEENIE MAN and "BURN DEM" featuring Capleton. In the mid 1990s, Khristopher gained notoriety after recording cover versions of the Backstreet Boys hits “I Want It That Way” on Flabba Malcolm’s Headache rhythm, "All I have to Give” on the Hurricane rhythm and “Who’s Holding Donna” which hit #2 on the tri-state’s Top20 Reggae Countdown. Despite this success, Khristopher continued to develop his songwriting skills with songs such as “Everytime It Rains”, “Can’t Live My Life”, "Sticky Situation", "Mind Your Business", “Even Though I Try.” His song “Promise” on the Love & Devotion Riddim, a Sly & Robbie Production is also on the movie soundtrack of "BASHMENT" a cultural cinematic gem that tells a cautionary tale about friendship, greed, tragedy and redemption directed by Steve "Tehut-Nine" McAlpin (SUNRASON FILM) in 2007.
