We are pleased to announce that the iCon 3 studio album is now released and available through the john wetton cybershop at www.johnwetton.com where you can get signed copies!  you may also find tour dates for John and Geoff as they re-unite with the original members of Asia for another tour of Europe and the UK on both the john wetton and geoff downes websites.  We look forward to seeing you all there!

Geoff and John are pleased to confirm to everyone who attended the sold-out concert and DVD taping at London's ST. Mary-le-Bow church that the CDs of the iCon 3 studio release are confirmed for receipt in UK on Friday 6 March and will be shipped out to you same day, which you means you will have them in hand well before everyone else does.  They won't arrive in stores before March 13th.  We hope you will enjoy this very special album as well as the DVD that will follow in the summer of the concert that you all experienced.  When you receive your DVD, which will be a special memento of the event you attended, it will be signed by  both John and Geoff.
 
A special note: many of you will remember that we were collecting names and shipping addresses at the door so we could dispatch your CDs and DVDs with speed.  If you didn't get a chance to leave your name and full street address (no post office boxes please) -- please email them to us now at iConDVD@aol.com along with your ticket confirmation number and how many tickets you purchased. 
 
We are sending the CDs by registered mail, so we can track them and make sure they get to you properly.  If you would like your CD signed, please write iConDVD@aol.com and let us know by Friday 6 March.  The signing will delay dispatching your CD by approximately ten days, however.

We are pleased that the wonderful show at St. Mary-le-Bow at London has sold out (we've just asked that ten extra tickets be made available to fans) -- but we wanted to communicate to everyone that this show is unusually early.  The doors open at five thirty pm and the show begins PROMPTLY at six thirty pm.
Every person who attends the show receive, prior to the actual release date of March 13th, a copy of the iCon 3 studio album sent to them; and come summer, the DVD of the recording they attended personally.

Asia's new album, "Phoenix", is released in North America on Tuesday, April 15 through EMI Records. It has already been released in many regions of the world. The album can be ordered via Amazon through a link on Asia's official website.

2nd Leg of ASIA's
"Heat Of The Moment"
2007 US/Canadian Tour Postponed.

The British rock group, ASIA, announced today that the second leg of its North American tour has been postponed due to a recently discovered heart condition, likely to require surgery, for lead singer John Wetton.

Mr. Wetton is expected to make a full recovery and looks forward to returning to his work with ASIA, as well as his other musical endeavours, at the earliest possible time.

The postponed shows, which were in Western Canada and the US West Coast, are expected to be re-scheduled around the 2008 US concert itinerary.
 
John recently had a routine medical which returned a clean bill of health.  John's consultant suggested a comprehensive check up, during which adverse heart readings were discovered, indicating advanced coronary disease.  The routine medical check had included conventional procedures from blood pressure to ECG tests, none of which suggested the presence of heart disease.

John now has to undertake an angiogram in the immediate future.  This will determine whether the condition can be treated with drugs, or whether immediate open heart surgery is needed.

John is philosophical and confident about the situation and wants it to be known that he will be back on stage as soon as possible.  "God didn't save me from drowning only to beat me up on the beach. I look forward to getting back on tour."
