We did an interview and we've played our new single Addio live. Also we recorded a song (God is a Gipsy) for the podcast which will be online soon.
 

Monday morning, after we played a radioshow on Giel Beelen's program on 3FM, we drove with two vans and a big powersupply to a bushy place nearby Hilversum. That's where Crailo is, a center for asylumseekers in one of the richest communities in the Netherlands. Although we came with a positive message we weren't allowed to enter the center and give a concert on the main square, so we unpacked our stuff in front of the entry gates. There were lots of people from the press and as we were soundchecking we also drew the attention of the people from the AZC itself. We just started playing and after a while it all seemed to fall in place. The positive and musical vibe was picked up by everybody there and especially the youngest. So we sincerly want to thank the people of Crailo and we hope we'll meet again soon. 'Cause we're sure we'll be doing this a lot more as it felt so right. We also hope that the officials from the refugee organizations understand our intentions now and we can reach out to eachother in this.

On 19th of March 2009, Mala Vita will give an exclusive concert in Het
Paard van Troje in The Hague, to celebrate the release of their new
album, "En Exilio". There you can see the brand new show and performances
by special guests like rapper Salah Edin and Tjeerd Bomhof, singer of
the great Dutch band Voicst.
