Nice to be back on the radio over the summer, with Bill Rennels playing Wedding of the Painted Doll on his Harmony Night show across the South East of England. We are looking forward to seeing Bill and Angela again in Maidenhead as they help introduce our concert there on 6th October.

After our second run on stage with The Boyfriend, this time at the Hawth Theatre, we are looking forward to getting on stage at the Chequer Mead once more in October, this time for Anything Goes. At least it will be in doors - our appearance at a 100th birthday function (booked a year in advance, there's confidence) was decidedly damp as the marquee was only just too small. We had fun on stage at a do at Pinewood Studios in August, but we didn't see any 70mm cameras pointing our way (but we must have made it onto a couple of digicams).

After having tracks played on various local radio stations we are now moving on to the national scene. Desmond Carrington will be playing a track from our latest CD 'Nice Work If You Can Get It' on his programme 'The Music Goes Round' on on BBC Radio 2 Tuesday 23rd January between 7pm and 8pm. Are you listening Mum?

New year - time to start the blog. We are looking forward to finding out when the promised airtime for one of our tracks will be this month on BBC Radio 2's 'The Music Goes Round'. Having been on local radio a few times it will be good to get national airtime. We'll get the time up on the website as soon as its confirmed.

Happy New Year everyone.
