Marc Riley's show this evening played Trousercide from the 1988 Peel Session. He may have played the whole session, but your blogger here only turned on the radio 20 minutes before the end of the show and at the time of writing no playlist was available for the show and neither was it available for playback on the BBC I-Player. Nevertheless, good to see/hear BOB remain unforgotten by others too.
New songs will arrive on the player here soon, including an unreleased treat.

Richard Blackborow is now playing in a new band called ETHATONE.
They are playing in London next Saturday (18th) at The Deptford Arms in New Cross. They will be the first band on and will play for 45 minutes
This is what Richard says of the band:

"It's a 4-piece band (Drums, Bass, Keys/Vox, Guitar/Vox) of young guys (other than me!) who are, frankly, fearsomely talented! I'm dead chuffed to be playing with them, despite their horrible youthfulness...

I'm playing the keyboards and singing harmony to the lead singer, Martin, who has an amazing voice and puts mine to absolute shame. "

Hope you can get there and enjoy the gig!

it passed us by unnoticed yesterday... but BOB scored their 5000th MySpace play. not bad in 18 months.

anyway, soon we will celebrate 3000 plays of 'convenience', so the time's right to add more songs.

By the time you read this Convenience will have scored 2000 plays in the 10 months we have been actively running this site. That's around 6 plays a day. Fantastic.
