Here it is boys and girls. Our new recording of Flying High In The Promised Land that will be on our new and upcoming cd. There is a very Spiritual story about how this song came to be:

My son Gabriel was 1 year old or so at the time and playing in his pack and play.I decided to look on line for the chords to "Don't You Wish It Was True" by John Fogerty. I've tried to sing and play like John since I was very young. As I find myself singing John's music pretty naturally. I came downstairs and started strumming on my guitar and singing the song when our dog Sammie looked at me with her head cocked as if you could read her face or she was telling me something like " Daddy you sound so much like John Fogerty, it's freaking me out." So I set my guitar down and prayed " Lord, sounding like John Fogerty is cool;but could you give me something that's me?" And he did!! I could hear it in my head. I immediatley starting jotting down the lyrics and playing the chords on the guitar. It sounded like a  G major Nashville type song. I have since recorded it with my band
"New Life" by a top notch engineer Justin Perkins. It's called "Flying High In The Promised Land". God Bless you John if your reading this!!!And yes if you need a fill in for one of your guitarists I'm available and can handle the job. I'm however very happy working on my own music. I sure hope you like the song and I  wanted you to know how God has been using you to inspire me!!! Peace...Rob

I wanted to share a miracle that happened. "New Life" is proud to be asked to perform both Friday and Saturday at the Mackville Nationals-June 19th and 20th http://www.mackvillenationals.com/.
I performed with the band "Renegade County Line" for the Mackville Nationals in 2007. As an evangelizing Christian, I felt honored as a gentleman approached me when we were on break. He was a good guy,but very troubled.I knew that the Lord had put him in my path because the things he spoke of were exactly how I felt before I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
I told him that finding the Lord and the Church saved my life and that was what he needed as well for his Salvation. He asked if I could play "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash, which I kindly agreed to. His cell phone rang, which ended up being his brother, who was his ride home. And off he went. He didn't even stay to hear the song. I prayed for him.
This year when Rodger booked us I felt very intoxicated by the Holy Spirit, as I knew it was God's way of thanking me for guiding one of His lost sheep to Christ.Wow Lord..it's great to be used!! I continue to pray for this man and hope to see him at the gig this year!!!!

God's Blessings,
Rob Ransom
