Hey kiddos,
Silent Kids wants to thank to all the folks (lots of em!) who came out to our record release show at the Earl this past Fri night. Also we’d like to thank the Preakness and Luigi for opening up.
The Preakness brought along their film projector and taught everyone a thing or too about cell mitosis. Look out for their debut record to be released sometime later this year.
Luigi sadly was performing their last show, hard to believe we won’t be able to sing along to their hit "Mariposa" in the front row anymore. Some special beverages were donated to the band by the Earl’s Patrick Hill.
Silent Kids set was:
Stars and Rust/Cable Cars/Miami/Dim Sparkle Spin/100 Years From Now (by Gram Parsons)/Radio was Unplugged/Hissing of the Summer Grass/Stockholm’s Waiting (with Michelle from Luigi on backing vocals)/Teenage Symponies (with Beth Kargel on percussion)/Neptunists Revenge/Ex-Lion Tamer (by Wire)
Brandon from Silent Kids/Preakness at the Earl May 28th show
Look out for some more Silent Kids dates this summer
