here goes. it would be real easy to give up and be discouraged due to the fact that it has been almost five years since this project materialized.

there are a few thing i do not want to happen or help happen.


1. handing this project off to someone else that may change the whole point of it which would jeopardize what i and those that have joined think is important.

2. contacting all the artists on volume one and saying sorry, it's over, i give up.

rambling over. and now continued on a different front...

after many thoughts: i've decided that if for some reason it never fully materializes into a distributed and charity benifiting project, then still there has been an impact from the ideas and efforts made by those involved on the project and those that have came, stayed and grown because of it and those that have just passed through.

i and we can only do so much emailing, phone calling, networking and follow ups, it's up to each one of us on the project to do our part(i'm not saying people are letting the project down.. if anything i feel i could some how be doing more) .. if i were as talented and focused and motivated as many of you, i would just record the final track myself and have volume 1 be done and seek distribution. at this point i don't want to rush it just as i didn't want the project rushed from day 1.

even if it's been 5 years in the making and we're still one track short(i am waiting on word from one artist in particular, godscent, i really want him on it and think that it's worth the wait to have him ready and comfortable instead of changing plans and just taking the first track offered by an artist already on the project...

i'm tired, and a bit dissapointed that i haven't spearheaded this more professionally. i for one, do not want anyone participating on this project to EVER think i've just given up or can't handle it, because if i was working on a project with someone and i thought they couldn't handle it i would have to part ways with the project.

i think it's good that this project hasn't been taken too seriously by all those involved, if it had and there were contracts and promises then those would most definately have, by now, created great discord among the participants and myself.

on that slightly corny, most serious and patient note.

i assume only a few of you will read this..

since i've started this project i have met and began networking and working with some really great people and some people that are very deep in the music business, it's interesting how things have twisted and turned and i truly think this project, though it's continuous nature, will have a great impact on those it touches.

LASTLY, i  give deep thanks to those of you that have stuck with us, joined when it was still a baby and those that continue yo offer support.. artists on the project and supporters alike.

to say the least this kid is a rapper.

i was turned onto him by a random person while rapping at this cool lil' spot (freestylemadness.com.... a place to freestyle live in an audio chat format, all you have to do is make a screen name, no money, no weird stuff.. just rapping... online ha, if that's cool with you...)

anyway this guy said i remind him of this rapper named "spoonfull"  i checked "spoonfull" out and was not only surprised by his level of dopeness and realness i was pleased to find out he was interested in some music i make for the other project i started, at the 'goodwillprojects'.   never the less... i wanna share this kid with you all, i have invited him to be a part of 'PROJECT FREE-WILL"

he has a few tracks available for download.. the kid is DOPE. a rare artistic/poetic approach to this art of rhyming now adays (it seems)

wew, this girl can flowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, she's up there with mystic, bahamadia, yarah bravo and lauren hill; i'd say jean grae(skill wise) but jean is more of an agressive emcee... MELINA JONES is a soulful emcee, as far as i've heard..
