Hey everyone...just thought I'd fill you in on the latest happenings here at the Hotel. We've been busy busy as you can imagine. Lots of new material is being written, and we're doing quite a bit of recording on our own to get tunes ready to take to our next producer. Name coming soon..If you come out to one of our upcoming shows, there's a good chance you'll be hearing some of our latest writings.

In addition to all of that good stuff, we recently etched a record deal with Rock Ridge Music, thanks to our buddy Chris Henderson (guitar) from 3 Doors Down that liked Black Roses so much, he signed us to his label. Since then, we've had a chance to hang with the boys from 3DD, what a great group of guys, and learn a little more about the biz, and what's in store for life to come for PkH. We're excited that Rock Ridge will be formerly releasing Black Roses to the world on Oct 20th, which means Painkiller Hotel will officially be everywhere. List of store names to come...

Oh yeah, we're also going to change up our website, so expect a new one in the upcoming months with an entirely new design.

So in brief, we're writing a lot, and we're finally releasing Black Roses to the world!

Thanks everyone for your continued support. Without you, we're nothing but a bunch of dudes from Aurora.

Peace,
Prez

Hey folks,

Over the last few months, some people let us know that the PKH website wasn't properly loading for them on certain web browsers. We are very sorry for this and hope that we didn't scare you away! With that being said, we have had a hard time tracking down our web tech and were unable to fix the problem, however we were able to get into the site and redirect all traffic to our Myspace page. Within the next few months, we hope to redo our website and launch something with an entirely new feel. We'll keep you updated on the progress, but in the meantime we will continue to update our Myspace page with all of the latest happenings in the PkH world...shows, videos etc.

Sorry for anyone who has been inconvenienced by this, and we can't wait to show you all of the cool new PkH stuff that we're going to be launching soon:)

It's Double-Blog Monday! I'm so excited that I had to write two...

I'd like to thank everyone who came out to the Double Door this past Saturday and spent the evening with us, which was amazing for us to say the least. It was truly one of the best experiences of my brief history on this planet.

Seeing old friends, family, and everyone in between made it all the more special for us while recording our first live album. To those of you who joined us on our 2nd Annual "Booze Cruize" Bus Trip, we're happy to announce that with your help we were able to bring nearly 400 people to the Double Door between the 4 bands that played on Saturday night. Atown never lets us down!

I'd also like to give a special thanks to those of you who helped in putting the whole thing together including my band mates Klaus, Arty, and Jeff, and to my good friends Mario, Tony, and Elliot. With a lot of team work and thoght, it's amazing what we are able to accomplish! Without you guys, none of this would be possible. The staff at the Double Door was top notch as well, so thank you guys as well for making our night run smoothly. Paul, Megan G, thanks for bringing the Chicago crews out! You guys are a huge help and we can't thank you enough. All of you guys who took the bus, you guys ROCKED IT OUT! There's nothing like playing when the crowd is loud, and you guys were bringing the noise on Saturday.

We're taking notes and learning how to make these shows the best they can possibly be, so we welcome your feedback about the trip/show etc. We're already in the planning stages for 3 this Spring so be on the look out. We're going to make it even bigger and better than this one. Stay tuned, we'll be posting a lot of videos from the show, and YOU will probably see yourself in one of them :)

We <3 You !
