Video I shot of the new Steel Hawg roller coaster at Indiana Beach. It was more fun than it looks...several upside down inversions. Made the mistake of going on a Saturday though, so there was a 1 hour wait. Going back on a weekday so we don't have to stand in line.

Hello, Myspace friends. If you are ever in the Indianapolis area, you should visit one of the four Downtown Comics locations, preferably our downtown store, which is right off the circle on 11 E. Market St. (across the street from the Hilton Gardens Inn). If you do visit our store, please stop by our website and shoot us an e-mail or post in our forums with your opinions. We're always happy to hear some constructive crticism that might help us run a better business.

If you don't read Cheap Ass Gamer, you're paying too much for your video games. This site is where all the clearance deals from Target, Blockbuster, Best Buy, Circuit City, EB Games, Gamestop, Game Crazy, and the other stores that sell video games are posted each week. If you want to save money on your video games, you owe it to yourself to check out this site. The average price I pay for brand new games for my Xbox, PS2, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, Gamecube, PSP, and Wii is $5-10 each because of this site. I love it. I used to think I was getting good deals on half.com and ebay.com until I started visiting Cheap Ass Gamer.

I trade a LOT of video games...I sent and received over 1,000 games in 2006 alone. Right now my favorite site is probably Goozex. I've traded around 225 games on that site so far and I've only been a member there around 6 months. Other good sites are gametz.com, cheapassgamer.com, and switchdiscs.com. If you're trying your video games into EB/Gamestop, Blockbuster, or other big chains, you're getting ripped off. They give you pennies on the dollar. Join a site like Goozex and trade your $50 game for another $50 game rather than selling your $50 game to EB Games for $1.

So I joined Switchdiscs.com about a week ago and I thought I'd spread the word. It's a site like Peerflix where you trade your dvds, video games, or cds for points that you then spend them buying other people's dvds, cds, and games.
The system works pretty well, as I've already shipped off 3 of my games to other users and earned enough points to request 7 video games from my wantlist. Unlike Peerflix and most other trading sites, Switchdics doesn't charge you $1.00 per trade or any fees whatsoever. The site is completely ad supported so it's free.
Here's a link with my referral code in it: Switch Discs
