The Space in Between nace a principios del año 2009 como un
encuentro de dos disciplinas que quieren y necesitan entablar un
diálogo. Nikka y Alba se encuentran y caminan por paisajes sonoros de
IDM y retales visuales abstractos. Construyen sonidos internos que dan
vida a los colores. Visualizan la música y sonorizan la imagen. Caminan
por narrativas espaciales. Se encuentran cómodas entre máquinas
analógicas y bits estéticos. Quieren sacar la cabeza de los laptops.
Para ambas es una responsabilidad fomentar la cultura audio-visual.
Entienden la música electrónica fuera del campo de los clubs y los
visuales fuera de los loops. Su directo está basado en las emociones
sensoriales de la forma, el sonido, la sensibilidad y la expresión; en
el arte generativo abstracto y en el sonido melancólico con una fuerte
personalidad. Cuidan mucho el espacio donde actúan; por responsabilidad
y por estética se sienten cómodas en conventos, iglesias, galerías de
arte, auditorios. Uno de sus objetivos es hacer llegar al público una
experiencia audio-visual producida con máquinas que transmiten emoción. El festival se inagura este miercoles 25 y la entrada es gratuita. Arts Santa Mònica

Live at Niu by Nikka & Logical Disorder & Leit Nnid són Nikka, Logical Disorder i Leit. Tal i com ells mateixos expliquen: "Somos 3 compositores en estado de 'alucinosis' sonora con el que sucumbimos ante determinadas vibraciones del aire y las 'demodulamos' para obtener algún resultado satisfactorio que puede ser aleatorio o premeditado según si es una performance o se trata de una escucha ordinaria. Todo confluye en un punto y es así desde mediados del 2008". Nikka és una de les compositores electròniques més interessants de l'actual panorama barceloní. Les seves atmòsferes intimistes, les seves foscors sonores, els seus ritmes trencats i la seva amplia sensibilitat musical van quedar plasmades en el su primer disc editado fa poc més de 2 anys (‘Isotopos’ / Lovethechaos).
Logical Disorder és el nom de la teràpia que Javier Barrero utilitza per a equilibrar el seu 'sinuosidal' sentit del deuere. Desenvolupa sons parcialment centrats en l'ambient i en el post-industrialisme. Sovint recorda frases pop i en ocasions èpiques melodies fúnebres ajudat per un sistema força senzill.
Leit, que pertany al moviment barceloní Under Construction Collective, fa música des de fa més de 14 anys. La seva música remet a un influx sonor, hipnòtic i fosc. Emparentat amb un so experimental, Leit es mou entre diferents estils gravitant entre el Dub Techno alemany, el Dubstep britànic, l'industrial i la IDM. Ticket: 4 EUROS amb 1 consumició
