Hey Everyone!
It's been such a long time since most of you have heard from Chief that we realise people might get the wrong idea - like we're taking a break or chilling things out - but the truth is, we've just been so intensely busy in our practice room that haven't had chance to let you in on what we're doing! It's about time we set things straight:
* NEW ALBUM: The first major new development at Chief HQ is that pre-production for our new album is nearing completion! 10 brand-new Chieftastic tracks will soon be coming your way. We're set to record them ourselves over Easter. Watch this (my)space for demo taster-tracks and updates, as the recording progresses.
* NEW TOUR: We are planning to promote our new album with an upcoming UK/European Summer tour that we're booking ourselves. Dates to be posted shortly. Check the contact details below for bookings.
* NEW BASSIST: Also, following the departure of our longtime friend and bassist Jim from the band, we are happy to announce Dave March (of the Shuffle) as Chiefs new bassist.
We've decided to really nail this communication thing, which means we'll be regularly updating our Myspace with our progress. Keep posted for news of upcoming gigs where we'll be showcasing our brand new tunes (and our new bassist!), including a special Liverpool Xmas show, as well as tour-dates, vlogs of the recording of our new album, photos of the new line-up, and more!
