We got this message from the team today:

It is with regret that the Fahrenheit Festival 2009 due to take place
this Friday 7th, 8th and 9th of August has been forced to reschedule.

We are all very sorry for any inconvience caused but due to last
minute circumstances beyond our control we have had to take this
action now as to avoid the participants of the festival any further
disruption. Building on the many partnerships and collaborations that
define Fahrenheit we will be back to you soon with details of a number
of exciting events and opportunities for unsigned bands and artists.

Many Thanks

The record industry as you well know is in a state on inertia as it
once again is regurgitating old formulas to fill the void!  It time for a change and Fahrenheit Festival aims with the aid of its
unique approach of collaboration based on the creative model to
provide a window of opportunity to all of this untapped talent.

The festival is going to rock peoples socks off this year with 97 bands playing over 3 days in a field in Cambridgeshire, one of which is local pop rock act Peachy Jane.  Other acts in the line up are The Darstards, Radfax, Ape, Longspoon, and Monotype.

Stardust will be floating around with Jo Whiley, Mark Radcliffe and Rio Ferdinand all confirmed to be there.  There are rumours of 6 contracts on offer for bands at the festival and the organisers are currently in talks with Unsigned Band Review (UBR), Unsigned Charts, Ming Music Gig Aid, DAMG,  Kidology,  Tapeworks and Amo Media group to offer support and development to the artists of Fahrenheit.
There will be three amazing stages, burlesque bar, Notting Hill Sound system bar, a fun fair, fire party, dancers, Mongolian tents, a natural maze (one of the biggest in the country), no neighbours for miles, clear starry
nights! DJ party until the early hours, V.I.P party, healing zone, art
displays, video zones, food village, over 14 ales and 10 ciders, peace
zone, sea shepherd, and even contracts on offer (details to be released)!

Tickets are only £55.00 for all 3 days including camping!  Visit www.fahrenheitfestival.com to get yours now.
