Here's the deal--------------Took the old tunes off of the playlist along with some dubs we did last year. We know that this leaves you with no RGC music on myspace but, alas, RGC II comes out in January and we will put new tunes up on the page around that time. For now, we posted a snippet of some more recent dub stuff we did while recording the new record. Enjoy! We debated on putting up Bobby Brown's "On Your Own". We'll let you make the call.
Also, we look forward to seeing all of you in Europe this December and early next year.

Sincerely----------RGC

Apparently, we have missed the '07 & '08 updates. Sorry. That makes this one all the more special. 2009 has been a great year for us so far. In May, we had a slew of shows in Europe, starting with the ATP festival in Minehead. Fantastic, Minehead was the clear winner over Monticello, NY. We were slayed by Andrew W.K., Jesus Lizard and Sleep. Heavy stuff. After a seeing some familiar faces and playing shows in a few more of our favorite cities, Glasgow, Manchester and London, we headed back to our home away from home, Spain. Spain continued to be the jam for for us. Many thanks to some of the wonderful people that helped out, Eddo, Javier, Jorge and Jose Luiz.
In June, we had the privilege of touring with the Meat Puppets. Those guys brought it every night. Touchdown King, forget about it. The highlight of the tour was getting them to come up to Duluth for a show. Crowd surfing still happens.
As we were wrapping up the tour, we headed into Sacred Heart Studio in Duluth to record the second record. As of now, the record is finished, and it will be released January 26 2010 on Sub Pop Records.
Plans for the rest of the year include some more regional shows and another trip overseas. The Primavera Club 2009 shows have been confirmed for December 9-13 in Barcelona and Spain, two shows in each city. Will keep you posted on the rest of the shows. Also, new dubs are up on the page.
Thanks and be kind,

-RGC

take care and thanks for all the requests and comments. if we were more computer savvy, we would shower your inboxes with glittering, 3D-graphic, exploding kisses... with echo.

Back from the tour now. thank you one and all for coming out to see us. special thanks to the XOXO bar in reno for taking us on at the last minute and then making it the gig of the tour. we were able to stay on our trail-running schedule, with highlights being Garden of the Gods in colorado springs and the watertower in Eagle, idaho. The second tour EP should be up soon on the chairkickers.com merch 'site. next up, maybe a trip east and more recording.

Sorted out songs for our second tour EP and sent them off to get mastered today. We should have CDs back in time for the west tour at the end of the month. The dates are patchy - if anyone out there knows of any last-minute bills we can get on... really wish we could have worked something out for seattle. I remember a time when you could book a tour 2 months in advance - it's more like 5 or 6 months now. Better planning next time. Had some great posters made for the tour, too, by Potter Press - they have a myspace.
