Releases and Future Plans
So it's time for the first releases to come out and for the SubDivision story to take on a tangible dimension. Release schedule:
1. Devil's Kiss / Apocalypto - Mode Recs. - Available in shops early december
The Light has been signed to DubKraft for a digital release, will be out early January 2008.
Piranha has also been signed and will be out on a vinyl EP in March.
Three collaborations are currently in production with some weighty producers, should all be done by early January (you know how it goes with collabs, never can tell how long it will take!)
4 more tunes are also done, but they are locked down for now, they'll see the light of day one by one in the spring. Hard edged stuff with that musical feel, what we are trying to move within dubstep. Look out for a couple more "stutterstep" tracks like Devil's Kiss in the coming months as well.
Future Plans.....
In spring 2008 look out for a label from us, looking to push that musical darker and deeper sound. Hoping to release 4-6 12"s a year. Let's see how it goes. Will be looking to release other artists as well as showcasing our sound, so get in touch if you think you've got the goods. We aren't messing around....
See The SubDivision!
We are starting to take bookings abroad (seeing that playing here in Italy is not so great at the moment). You can email us at: the.subdivision@gmail.com if you are interested in us playing your party. We're running things on two continents from January, with SubDivision 1 in Italy and SubDivision 2 in Honolulu, Hawaii, so we'll be repping both US and EU.
Booked for the Freak Camp Sessions in Berlin on 8 December, alongside Tes La Rok, Scuba, and of course the Freak Camp DJs on a 14kw system....should be big.
Gift Mix
Will try to get a mix together of all our tracks from 2007 and some guests as
well to thank everyone for their support this year. It has been a big year for us,
the first year we are actually producing dubstep, so it's been a ride....
