WHEW!  It's been quite a week!  We feel incredibly blessed to have shared the stage with such talent!  First was Wednesday @ Martyrs, opening for Imelda May!  She is such a doll, very sweet, gracious, and down to earth!  She is uber talented as is her band!  Can't wait to have her back in the Windy City!  Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting our set as well as hers.

Next, was Thursday @ The Horseshoe BBQ opening for Buzz Deluxe from Canada!  It was a little less crowded but both of our bands rocked out hard for your listening pleasure!  It was great to share the stage w/ these guys!

Finally, we just got back home from an amazing time down in Lafayette, IN for Cooter's Cash Bash @ the Lafayette Brewing Co.  What a great crowd, very supportive and what great dancers!  We have some awesome footage we'll be posting really soon!  I can't wait to come back and play!

We have a big gig next Thursday at Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle!  This will be the pre-party for the Good Guys Chicago weekender AND the debut of our full length album!  Please come if you can!  We start at 6:30PM!

 PEARLS MAHONE & THE ONE-EYED JACKS Pearls Mahone & the One-Eyed Jacks have the potential to electrify the local psychobilly scene armed only with the standard gear—drums, guitars, upright bass—and a big-voiced, high-powered front woman. Pearls Mahone's persona is less JD moll than fearsome ringleader—I imagine her at the head of a bad-boy cult devot­ed to hot rods, cheap beer, cheaper tattoos, pulpy horror movies, and big Cramps-y jungle beats. The band's repertoire also includes a touch of bruised-up soul and a smattering of classic country covers—nothing especially record geeky, mostly Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline—so they're suitable for all occasions, like mama getting out of prison or a dog running off with your spouse. The Jacks play as part of the Bottom Lounge's first annual Winter Rockabilly Ball; the bill, headliner first, is Three Blue Teardrops, Pearls Mahone & the One-Eyed Jacks, the Howlin' Tumbleweeds, the Blue Ridge Strangers, Curtains!, and the Screaming Bluedogs.  8 PM, Bottom Lounge, 1375 W.
