Mr.XXII und DJ Poetic Rock präsentieren:
Flomega - The Blast From The Past (Best Of Mix)

Mit "The Blast From The Past" sind nun endlich die verlorenen Schätze des Bremer Ausnahmetalents Flomega der breiten Masse zugänglich.

Mr.XXII und die Bremer DJ Legende DJ Poetic Rock haben aus unzähligen Flomega Songs, Skizzen und Instrumentalen einen 75 minütigen Mix geschaffen, der zum größten Teil unveröffentlichte und von Flomega produzierte Songs beinhaltet, die zwischen 1997 und 2007 entstanden sind.

Der Mix zeigt Flomegas große musikalische Bandbreite und seine ganz eigene hanseatische Definition von HipHop.
Neben der Shout Outs alter Weggefährten ist auch der Bremer HipHop Veteran DJ Goldfinger (Lyrical Poetry) mit einem kleinen Gastmix vertreten.

Über die Webseite www.rdalarm.de des Kölner Künstler Kollektivs Team RDA wird der Mix (plus aufwändigem Booklet und zwei exklusiven Tracks)
ab dem 2ten Februar 2009 als freier Download erhältlich sein.

Flomega, bekannt durch seinen Funk Hit "Pay Me Right!" (Melting Pot Music), betreibt mit diesem Release Vergangenheitsbewältigung und macht den Weg frei für neues:

So erscheinen in den nächsten Monaten unteranderem 7"inches mit der Lefties Soul Connection, Mambo Mark, Suff Daddy und anderen. Zur Zeit ist er mit seiner Band "The Ruffcats" (Mellow Mark, Martin Jondo etc.) im Studio und produziert seine Debut LP, die eine dreckige Kombination
aus Soul, Funk und HipHop bieten wird.

The RDA Movement is a good friend of music. Founded in a small town called Delmenhorst in 2001, raised in Bremen and arrived safely in Cologne in 2003 with events like "Kenia Benefit Bash", "Yes, we like good beats", "Patchwork Project" and the "Mo..show".

RDA is a collective of friends and fam creating musical and visual projects.

Following people are part of the crew:
Parissa Boom, Mariama, Mr.XXII, Phax Mulder, Mac 118, Flomega, MCK, Poetic Rock, Jerome Thoma, Donqui Shot and the Background Allstars.

Well, we are working hard with a smile in our face on new stuff !

Stellt Euch vor, ihr wacht morgens auf, dreht Euch um und dieses bezaubernde weibliche Wesen liegt neben Euch im Bett. Schöne Vorstellung, oder ? Unser Chef Pimp Phax Mulder dazu einen 1A Soundtrack gebastelt. Sobald ihr mit dem Download fertig seid, werdet ihr wie bescheuert durch Eure Wohnung springen. Wahlweise aus absoluter Verzweiflung oder purer Freude ! Ach ja, das Cover wurde zwischen dem ersten und zweiten Kaffee von Graf Zahl gestylt. (Auf Anfrage gibt es das Bild auch gerne in 300dpi). So, und nun bitte Durchdrehen.

Flomega describes himself as career changer and underdog having an ingenious bone. He is a man with a distinct scepticism, an observer, a voyager through the zones of minds, a diplomat, a soul musician and former mc.


He sees himself as eternal esthete, punk and keen thinker. The born Bremer is an intuitive and versed person. After a long period of doing small time and jamming, he met the band who catch his sound: The Ruffcats from Berlin!

After a long time of creative producing the 28 year old musician now publishes his debut EP 'Pay Me Right!' containing 5 tracks, which will be released only on the online platform www.finetunes.net  !The piece 'Pay Me Right!' is a Dancefloor-Jazz track revealing Flo's voice as by beer and Glen Fiddich tormented chain saw. He announces his cell number to all who never really remunerated him: women and promoter. 'In a natural way' is a smooth reggae-soul song with fanatic background. An authentic side note from someone who still calls himself Flomega.
