Thank you so much for putting up with me all year.  I hope these songs connect with you.  My 6 yr old daughter Aly helps me out on a tune I think you’ll like.  I also recorded an acoustic version of my song God Send Angels which is on my record Fools Like Us.  I love that song and think it’s right for this time of year.  Also the song “I Believe In Santa Claus” is a song my dad wrote a few years ago and thought it would be fun for this group of songs.

Well here we go! Right click on the link below and choose “save target as”.  This will download a zip file that contains all the songs.  If you’re not sure what to do with a zip file go ahead and download the file and reply to this email and I will help you out.

Hope your Thanksgiving holiday is a great one.I've been wanting to say thanks to all of you guys for a great year and here's what I've come up with. I am producing an acoustic Christmas EP! 

Now the songs on the EP will be very simple.  Guitar vocals. No rock and roll here but if you're a Dave Parks fan I think it's something that could help you stay in the Christmas spirit.

 I will have the songs posted for download by Sunday night!  Wish I could have it sooner.

Now I want to give these songs to my fans for free but I will have a "Donate" button if the spirit leads and my suggested donation will be $5. But again please download them guilt free and tell your friends to download them.

I will send out an email once the songs are ready for download.

Yep we’ve made it to the “Elite 8” on CMT’s Music City Madness!  We would not have made it this far without your help.  It means a lot that so many have expressed via email or Facebook that you’re voting and having a good time. 

Voting takes time (36 seconds if your Neil R a little more if your normal) and time is the most precious resource we have so again thank you.

Been wanting to give more content to enjoy so check out this funny little clip I shot after my Legends show on November 10, a day before the CMA’s.

Hey I hope this email finds you happy and healthy!

I’ve been asked by CMT to submit a video for the CMT madness video contest. 

So I want YOU to be in my Fools Like Us video but I need your help!

Here’s my idea…

We all have pictures and videos of having fun with our friends and we love to look at them over the years.  So I want Dave Parks fans to submit their favorite pictures and videos of themselves having fun with their friends!  Being “Fools Like Us”

I will use an online resource Animoto.com to create awesome motion graphics.  You can see a sample of what they can do at daveparksmusic.com and watch the Parks' go to the county fair! OK I know it's not the most exciting video but you'll get the point.

First off… Have you heard the song?  Go to daveparksmusic.com and look for the "Play Now" button. 
Well, have ya been fishin, skiing, huntin, bikin’, mountain climbin’, racin, tail gatin’, went some place really cool or  even been to a Dave Parks concert? We're just looking for pictures that capture folks being “Fools Like Us”

Points to rememberYou need to have more than one person or animal er thing er whatever in the picture... It's a friends havin' fun video!

Pics/vids …
•    (Legal Notice) Need to be your pics or videos don’t send something that doesn’t belong to you. 
•    Need to be funny or great or spectacular!!!
•    Don’t have to include yours truly even though I do have a positive affect on pictures.
•    Posed pictures where everyone is looking at the camera probably won’t make it.
•    Pictures that tell a story have a much better chance of making it.
•    Videos need to be 10 seconds or less but if you can’t edit the video down that’s fine. Send it to me and let me know where the clip is.
•    Names will not be used but remember a lot of people will see this on the CMT Madness web site.

So yep.  You could appear in a Dave Parks video! CMT’s web site and potentially appear on CMT-TV! I think we could have a blast with this!

Once you get to the site click the Add button then choose as many files as you want and then make sure you click the drop button when you’re finished.  You can also leave a comment with your photos if it helps.My drop site can only hold 100MB.  I will try to download files ASAP to make room for more.  But send all ya want.

Hey everybody!

Hope your Labor Day weekend has been a great one!  Wanted to let you know about a couple things.

We won’t be at Legends Corner tomorrow (Tuesday).  Just this week.  We will be back strong next week.

The new record is done!  Shipped it off to the factory yesterday.  Stay tuned for exclusive music from the CD that only Dave Parks fans will have access to!

Announcing:
We will have a CD release party in my hometown of Oxford KS on Thursday July 9.  My band will be there to play at Napawalla Park.  It’s gonna be a big ol’ time! Stay tuned for more details! *** Click for a Map!
Then Friday July 10 will be the official CD release Golf Tourney at Suppesville Golf Course. Gonna hit the links, get fried (in the sun …. But I know what you were thinkin’) and then it’s on to rockin’ the night with another outdoor show at Suppesville.  It’s one of the coolest places I’ve ever played golf AND music! *** Map
And if that wasn’t enough Saturday we will be on to K-State land for another CD release event for all my posse just north of Manhattan in the metropolis of Leonardville at Nelson’s Landing!  This will be a crazy night!*** Map
