There were dozens of tours in nearly 30 countries, few official releases, own label and agency establishment in the Paprika Korps history, while the band has never made their own videoclip. The time has come! We proudly present clip to the song HI-FI featuring Maken from Joint Venture Sound System.
All of the drawings were made by band's guitarist Lukasz Rusinek. It took him over one year in his studio in Cracow to finish the project, based on his own scenario.
- That's the story of rats sabotage, carried out on the robots assembling line against the background of huge, dark city - he explains - In the end, after short circuit one of the robots becomes „the different one" and run away.
Montage and animation were made by Grzegorz Lotysz and Mikolaj Pasinski (www.awork.pl).
- That was a perfect cooperation. Lukasz is incredibly creative artist - says Pasinski - That's the beautiful story of freedom's searching in this heartless world.

Paprika Korps's first seven inch, as a North Pole Star leads us far north to the place where dub is cold as ice. Entering this kingdom better take snowshoes instead of suntan oil or fancy sunglasses and especially be aware of distorded guitars lurking in treacherous crevasses.
In the beginning of October in Finland, Paprika Korps will start promoting their first seven inch vinyl called „Follow Follow".

We hope weather will be understanding and create conditions good enough to transport northern dub all the way down to our shop in Poland, without melting risk. Especially that the ice is spectacular - black, round, has 7„ and two sides.

Pierwsza siódemka Paprika Korps, jak gwiazda polarna, prowadzi nas daleko na północ gdzie dub jest zimny jak lód. Do jego królestwa wygodniej będzie zamiast okularów przeciwsłonecznych i olejku do opalania zabrać rakiety śnieżne, tym bardziej że w zdradliwych szczelinach pod warstwą białego firnu czają się przesterowane gitary.
Już na początku października w Finlandii będzie miała miejsce premiera pierwszej w historii zespołu winylowej siódemki noszącej tytuł „Follow Follow". Po powrocie z zagranicznej trasy promującej te wydawnictwo, siódemkę będzie można nabyć również w Polsce na jesiennej trasie Papriki jak i na karrot.pl i siodemki.com.
Miejmy nadzieję, że aura okaże się wyrozumiała i stworzy warunki w których swobodnie będzie można przetransportować północny dub do kraju nad Wisłą, bez ryzyka że się roztopi. Szczególnie że lód to szczególny - czarny, okrągły, ma siedem cali i dwie strony.
Na płycie znalazły się dwa premierowe utwory - tytułowy Follow Follow i The Concrete - co prawda nie tytułowy, ale też ładny. Aby łatwiej wam było się odnaleźć w tym epickim, trwającym prawie dziewięć minut wydawnictwie, Karrot Kommando przygotowało specjalnie dla was promomiks, którego możecie posłuchać pod adresem www.karrot.pl/follow.

Paprika Korps - Magnetofon

To take advantage of the current status of the Polish music industry, Paprika Korps decided to present to the world another dose of their own creation.

The Album, with its original title "Magnetofon", is already the fifth volume of the heavy-reggae epic. This time, the musicians from the Opole band are inviting You to their world of tantalizing, melancholic melodies with fierce rodeo on the borderline of uncompromising rhythm and dreamy pulsations.

Within the rough walls of guitar sounds and the background of dub foundations true and perfidious stories are hidden. The Album shows the rare and the common phenomena of our world. You can see it through the prism of heavy-reggae music, which gives you a completely new perception of our reality.

This huge venture would not have worked without the support of our professionals: the great work of the engineers, Jarek "Smok" Smak, Activator from As One Studio, and their dub music sixth sense. The Album has many different colours and it was only possible thanks to the exceptional voice of Malgorzata Auron and the mystic parts of virtuosi of hindu fiddle, Michael Johnes. DJ Bass Reprodukktor Xiadz Maken I from Joint Venture SS gave the fiery "Dub manifesto", and Warsaw ragga-bard Pablopavo gave us the brief ballad straight from life.
