week one in nashville has proven to be a good one. there's nothing quite like being in a new city with new people and trying to get established and find your place. for ya'll who don't know, i just moved to nashville from dallas. you ain't in kansas no more toto.
the first morning here there was snow which i've only seen in person a handful of times so that was cool. last night i worked the door at the station inn for my friends cadillac sky. if you haven't heard of or seen them i highly recommend you go check them out now. they're a great group of guys that are incredibly talented and humble to boot. the room sold out before the show even started so i got the pleasure of turning people away all night long which was awesome but everyone who got in was great, and they loved the show. check c-sky out at myspace.com/cadillacsky for sure.
i'm getting all the new tracks finished up and tweaked for a new album sometime in the very near future. i can't wait to get the new stuff recorded and get out and perform it for folks. it's definitely different from my first Ep "Shot in the Dark" and will be much more stripped down and raw which is what we're going for. besides that i'm just trucking along here in Tennessee missing my family, friends and the Village but i'll be back soon enough. thanks for all the prayers and encouragement. i'll try and keep this thing updated more often from now on.
