Thank you so much for your support of the Hope Eternal Loud Music Festival, Women's Cancer Awareness Benefit. We could not have done it without you. Because of your generous donations, we were able to raise $1000.00 to donate to the Bedford NH Division of the American Cancer Society. This money will be given in Carla Rae's name and will go toward funding for women in need of transportation to and from medical appointments, for wigs, and for support groups. Looking back on the day's events, I am so grateful to be a part of such a caring community of musicians, artists and friends. The economy certainly makes it harder, but because of your compassion and selflessness, each of you showed me and many others that even in hard times, even in our busy lives, we can still make time to have heart. For that I cannot thank you enough.
Each of us has been touched by someone who is ill, with Cancer or perhaps something else. It is important to take time to smell the roses, be grateful for your life, as tough as things might get sometimes, celebrate each other and come together as a community in times of need. The Arts are the perfect vehicle for self expression, healing and finding meaning in difficult times. The Hope Eternal Foundation is a woman-owned and operated community support program, that seeks to raise awareness about health and wellness issues through arts entertainment. The Hope Eternal Loud Music Festival, A Women's Cancer Awareness Benefit, which will be held on Saturday, September 19th at Rocko's Bar & Grille in Manchester, NH has finalized the performance line up for this all ages, all day event. Tickets are just $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door, children age 5 years and under are free. A portion of the proceeds with go to the American Cancer Society. Please join us for a day of loud music, proudly representing a worthy cause. Ten bands of different genres will rock throughout the day to raise awareness regarding all types of cancer that affect women and to celebrate the recovery of Eternal Embrace violinist, Carla Rae. Eternal Embrace, Manchester, New Hampshire's own Gothic Doom Metal band will headline the event. Since the birth of Eternal Embrace in 2004, the band has truly been prolific. From somber ballads to melodic death/doom, blackened folk and apocolyptic symphonies, Eternal Embrace's musical style has evolved into a complex and breathtaking array of sophisticated musical expressions. Creative lyric writing is beautifully offset by the female vocals of Allie Casey, accompanied by Damien's traditional harsh male vocals. Guitarist Erik Moyer, who has been heavily influenced by the European metal scene, writes the music for the band. Randy Mann's skilled bass and Bill Hamel's steady drumming style are what keeps the pace for the band's masterful arrangements. Eleanor Moyer's epic keyboard style and Carla Rae's professionally accomplished violin playing complete this unique and theatrical line up. Eternal Embrace has two demos, Forest of Stone, 2005 and Snowfall, 2007 available. For more information about the band visit www.eternalembracemetal.com From the mind of Chris Dimock, Streak began in 2004. Their live act blends industrial, rock, TV’s and shameless self promotion, like the Beach Boys tripping out on acid, running around in their underwear singing “ I Get Around” and shouting “How about a little industrial with your sex?”. Compared to such greats as NIN,16volt, Gravity Kills and Ministry, Streak blends its own unique version of industrial-rock. Bringing together aggression and melody, anger and love the music puts forth a sense of “orderly chaos”. This past June the band set out on their “TV DINNER TOUR”. This tour consisted of 8 shows across 6 different states and was in support of their debut full-length album “ Break Away”, which was released on Nov. 28th 2008. The CD, along with other merchandise and mp3 downloads, can be ordered directly from their site: www.StreakBand.net. Avariel was created by Michael Rose in September 2004. Michael began his search for musicians and in October found singer Shannon Kelly. Together, they began writing and recording gothic metal songs. In April 2005, drummer Jay Narbonne was brought into the lineup. Jay's metal drumming experience with previous bands made him a worthy addition to the group. In November of the same year, they joined forces with guitarist Scott McDonald, and the songwriting began to move in new directions. In 2006, Avariel released a self-produced demo, titled "No End in Sight." 2007 and 2008 found Avariel hitting as many stages as possible around the New England area. In 2008, work began on their debut full-length album, "The Dawn." In late 2008, Avariel finally completed their lineup with the addition of bassist Ryan Kelly. Currently, the band is playing shows in the New England area and finishing up work on "The Dawn." www.myspace.com/avarielmusic In His Blood is a Christian Hardcore band from Taunton, Massachusetts., Their mission statement is to sing from The Spirit of God and to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners and to comfort all who mourn. In His Blood is very devoted to charitable organizations and even has their own ministry. Members are Paul on Vocals and Guitar, Jason on Bass and Backing vocals, Ted on Drums and Colin, Lead Vocals. In His Blood are influenced by God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Stryper, Demon Hunter, Flame, Cross Movement, Old Metallica, Sepultura, Pantera and Soulfly. Their album All Hail is available to listen on their myspace, www.myspace.com/inhisblood7 Formed in 2007 by Tom Mayo (vocalist) , formerly of the rock band Troll, Knightstorm is a New England heavy metal act similar to such acts as Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Dio, Rainbow, Helloween, Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. Knightstorm is an evolution of Troll. Tom wanted to take the metal influences Troll had in it's music and create a more pure heavy metal act, hence Knightstorm was born. Current lineup is: Tom Mayo - Guitar / Vocals, Steve Kenney - Drums and Yukiko Fujii - Bass. Knightstorm has perfomed on the same bill in 2008 with acts Godsmack, Sevendust, Taproot, Killswitch Engage, Tantric, Brett Michaels, Gary Hoey, Otep, Metal Church, Meliah Rage, Steel Assassin, Joey Belladonna (from Anthrax), Doro, Chris Caffrey (Trans Siberian Orchestra), Lillian Axe, Ed Guy, Sonata Artica, RA, One In Vain, Till We Die, Diecast. For more about Knightstorm, www.knightstorm.org Mortuus Ortus, translated as "dead birth" or "dead rising", otherwise "to die or to arise", is quite the fitting name for a band which formed from the charred remains of a previous name, Graveyard Shift. To stand alone amidst the masses, one must die in the eyes of others and rise from death with greatness and power. This current trio hails from the gritty mill city of Manchester NH. Mortuus Ortus is comprised of Drummer and Vocalist, Drae Graveyard, Guitarist, Shawn the Dead, and Bassist, Mr. Jason Skulls. The three meld their music styles with a craft that is unparalelled in todays music. With styles reminiscent of Sisters of Mercy, Type O Negative, Danzig, and the Cult, this lends itself to a rather potent mix of music. www.myspace.com/graveyardshiftmusic. Paul Green School of Rock, whose motto is "Saving Rock, One Kid at a Time", proceeds from the belief that the best way to learn to do almost anything is by doing it. Paul Green School of Rock Music goals are to help our students realize their potential as artists, to put them on stage in front of as many people as possible and to help foster a new generation of incredible musicians. From the moment a student joins the school, they are PLAYING music; loud, on professional equipment with other musicians. Before long, our students are playing live rock concerts. Shows are picked for their educational merit and content. Each year our students play over 500 concerts to more than 200,000 people, at such legendary venues as CBGB, The Trocadero, Cafe DuNord, The Knitting Factory, Cervantes Ballroom and BB Kings in Times Square. What results from all of this is the best education of the execution and performance of rock music. www.schoolofrock.com Sans Nomenclature, derived its name from a Kierkegaard quote, "When you label me, you negate me," and was chosen because the band defies labels, genres, and classifications. Playing both originals and covers. heavy at times, but not metal. Minor key, but not goth. The band came about when Boston musician Leon Rich, a well-known local songwriter, guitarist and performer whose presence has graced various stages in New England, including The Cantab, Jacques, The Abbey Lounge, The Middle East, and The Skybar, approached Anderson Mar with the idea of starting a spinoff project that put an unusual treatment on various well-known classic and alternative rock tunes. Anderson Mar is the former vocalist of Solace and Gallows Hill. Stylistically, her singing voice is described as "Amanda Palmer-meets-the-female-version-of-Danzig". Renee Solano and the "keeper of the sacred heartbeat", is a drummer who has been playing professionally since 2002. Mel Fitzhugh plays bass for the group and has composed music for film and stage, she also enjoys playing a variety of folk instruments. www.myspace.com/sansnomenclature Melt puts on a show you won't forget with smooth yet powerful vocals, soaring guitars, complex bass lines and exciting drumming fused together for a sound familiar, yet unique. Bassist Paul Pipitone was looking to do something that melted elements that were dynamic and jarring yet still accessible and melodic. A kindred spirit was found in Rachel Drucker. From the second she sang her first note to the band, it was clear she was the voice and front person they had been looking for. With her diverse theatre and musical background and stellar vocals and stage presence, she brought up the energy level a thousand fold. Things started coming together with the addition of Ben Thompson who took the drum spot in early 2008. Ben added immediate fire, excitement and exceptional drumming which brought the band. The lineup was complete with the addition of Dan Inzana who joined in the fall of 2008 on lead guitar. Dan is also a veteran of the local rock scene whose style takes the band in a more alternative direction while still maintaining a driving rock feel. The band has recently finished first place in both the Emergenza and Bodog Battle of the bands first rounders. www.myspace.com/melttheband Supernaut is New England's Black Sabbath Experience. A cover band who has performed most of the Black Sabbath songs from the Ozzy Years live, Supernaut excels in making the audience feel as if they have been transported back in time when Sabbath and Ozzy were so real. The band comprises, Frank, Bassist; Mike, Guitarist, Kurt, Drums; and Chris as Ozzy. Seeing is believing, www.myspace.com/sabbathnaut

Oh yes. We have. And he is grand. In just one week he learned an entire album and memorized it!! He's man enough to dance with Allie during Snowfall and creative enough to wear any costume for our shows. He is like a dream come true. Pinch...okay. Still here. Yes! This is exactly what we've all been waiting for. I could tell today, the level of energy and enthusiasm permeating the rehearsal room. I have not seen my guys give rocks to anyone like that within the past year let alone in such a short time span. People used to tip toe around and try to minimize conflict. It was all very shady for a while there. Tensions were often high. Today, we were all relaxed and we even worked on a Metallica cover. We've also been letting the creativity flow into other areas, Allie played acoustic guitar on an instrumental and everyone is really into the Persephone's Underworld theme of the upcoming showcase. There has been such a profoundly positive change within the band, I too have felt more inspired lately even spending long nights thinking of costume ideas and making props for our stage set. Formulating a dance for Snowfall and talking with our network of contacts about shows and ideas for the future. It's so amazing.

Could this be the end of Eternal Embrace? There seems to be no hope for a vocalist. We have once again been dicked on the short end of the big stick. I'm angry, I'm in mourning, I'm sad, I'm feeling hopeless and just plain pissed.
And to the little fuck who keeps sending gay porn to my email, you're immature, mediocre and flacid. I wish I knew who you were so I could tell you how your efforts in antagonizing me are ineffectual.
