The most frequently reworked Crystal Castles cut of all is 'Crimewave'. Of these, the most ubiquitous is Sinden's remix. I like the glitchy thing he's done with the main hook, although the rest of it is too fussy for my tastes. All those extraneous bleeps and curlicues detract from the steely, robotic blankness of the original.

Far more satisfying is the Cold Blank Remix - although be warned, we're in serious, heads-down, Fabric-at-4am-territory here.

This is an exclusive Hot Biscuits post featuring Big Nasty, the mastermind behind Smash Disco and an integral part of Burn The Fire Records. With the recent release of his "California Love" remix, Big Nasty has been getting love from several of the hottest clubs in Los Angeles. Not only has the tune been heating up the dancefloor, but it's also set a pretty high president for any follow-up's. High standards aside, I think Nasty's topped himself with his new remix of T-Pain's "Can't Believe It". In my opinion, it has a bit of a Kissy Sell Out feel to it, but instead of that Kissy style bass-line, it boasts the bass-line of a beefy Nine Inch Nails track.

Seeing as this post is based on exclusivity, I might as well drop some exclusive news on you… Remember the mystery producer by the name of Cold Blank? Well, I'm proud to announce that Cold Blank is not just a man, but a collaboration between Big Nasty and myself! We've got some exclusive new tracks in the process of being mastered, but feel free to stream demo's on our Myspace. Keep an eye out for the final version here on Hot Biscuits and in the meantime check the archives for previous releases.
