I've got 11 new songs finished and everything is ready to record a new album. The recording starts next week on Monday, July 13 2009 with drum tracks!

My plan is to record a few video clips from each day of the album recording, write some text and publish it all on du-podcast.blogspot.com for every day of the album recording. So, you'll be witnessing "the making of" videos before the album is even finished!

The working title for the album (and probably the one that will stay in the end) is Destination Unknown.

I'm taking you on this journey with me and we'll see where it takes us, our destination is still unknown ;)

Hey guys, I've got great news!
My first solo album Sandcastle is out!
It should be available all over the world through CD Baby, Itunes, Napster in a few weeks and it's out in Croatia right now!

Od sutra (srijeda 23. 7.) CD će se moći kupiti u Zagrebu u Ilici 89 u Gitarskom Centru po cijeni od 50 kn.

A ljudi iz Splita mi se kroz idućih 10 dana mogu javit na info@ivanmihaljevic.com jer sam idućih 10 dana u Splitu i mogu im prodati CD osobno (cijena je isto 50 kn).

Ljudi iz ostalih dijelova Hrvatske će morat pričekat da se vratim u Zagreb i složim neki sistem naručivanja... Sistem će biti slanje pouzećem, a cijena 50 kn + troškovi poštarine!

Još jedna stvar, ako si netko hoće spržit CD, to mi je ok (fala bogu znam otkud smo), ali molim da me ne žicate original CDe za besplatno jer me kompletna proizvodnja ovog albuma koštala i bilo bi jako lijepo da uspijem vratiti dovoljnu količinu love da mogu radit idući album :)

A lot of people are asking me lately when will my solo album be finished. All the drum, bass, guitar and vocal tracks are already recorded and the only thing left to record are keyboard parts. I hope to finish them next week, so I can start mixing the album, then do the mastering and finally call it finished :)
The album recording actually took a lot more time than I thought it would and than I wanted it too. That's mainly because the musicians I've been working with on this project were very busy during this time and we've had a hard time trying to work out a schedule that would fit all of us.

The name of the album is going to be 'Sandcastle' and it's going to hold 14 songs (8 instrumentals and 6 songs with vocals).
The names of the songs are (this is not the order they're going to be on the actual album):

Bulldozer, Cascading Mirrors, Distant World, Empathy, Friend, Hi-Tech Orient, Macedonian War Song, Questions in My Mind Pt. 1, Questions in My Mind Pt. 2, Raindrops, Shimmering Karma, Showcase, The Road to Nowhere, Spring

This year will be really busy for me because I'll be playing a lot of shows across Europe with my band Hard Time. We currently have plans for Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, England, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. Keep checking the Upcoming Shows box on my profile for more tour dates. This year we're also planning to record a live album.

I have some new music projects in plan too, but I'll tell you more about them when the right time comes.

Nakon uspjesne europske turneje Hard Time su se povukli u svoj podrum i rade na pjesmama za novi album. Da malo razbiju monotoniju sijecanjskih proba zasvirat ce u utorak 15.01. u kultnom zagrebackom rock klubu Route 66. Kako je Route kapacitetom mali preporuka svim fanovima je da dodu na vrijeme – koncert pocinje u 21 sat.

Upravo su potvrdeni i datumi engleske turneje Hard Time-a te gostovanje na najvecem slovenskom rock festivalu "Rock Otocec '08", a na You Tube stranici mogu se pogledati amaterske snimke sa Euro turneje.
