hey! there has been a bit of a strange reaction in belfast to the news that we are to open for bryan adams in the odyssey arena. it's mostly along the lines of... they've only got this show because of who they know or why is this little indie band with left leaning politics doing this show? so, for the record... when we started this band i think the one thing we agreed on was that we would try to play any show we were offered. we always play very punk nights for local independent promoters. we've done strange shows, such as on the back of a lorry in a small seaside town. we've travelled to other countries. and we will open for bigger acts. as for how we got the show, the promoter was stuck (it's an additional date and the original support can't stick around). that's it. no mystery. i'm looking forward to it. i know my mum will be there and that in itself is pretty cool. take care, barry
