Current mood:befuddled
It's nice to see that Myspace has fucked their mail up so hard that no one can send messages now. What a piece of shit. I fucking hate facebook, but it seems more reasonable right now. What kind of bullshit company can't keep their shit together enough to not disable the abilities of their own site? This is really fucked up and unbelievable. Get in touch with me at:

Current mood:computer illiterate
As of a couple of days ago my mail service was updated to "Myspace Mail Beta". Whatever Java Script the new platform uses is unrecognizable to my computer and all of the buttons don't work (i.e. Reply, Send Message, etc)

If anyone knows how i can "undo" this automatic update I DID NOT WANT, please let me know. As for now, I'm just gonna reinstall Firefox and hopefully it will take care of itself.

Please realize I'm not snubbing everyone, I just physically can not reply to messages at all. --eric

Yo!

Here's a cop out of a playlist!

 1. Shapeshifter -- brilliant song from the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack. So hard to sing... Don't be a "guestlister", that is what that songs tells you.

2. A song from the Manikins 2008 Crocodiles LP. So stoked to see this band! April 24th at Frank's!

3. Dead Ball by Catholic Boys. This song actually was released on the Dead Ball EP on Trick Knee Records. I did not make it available for download, because I haven't talked to Nick about it.

4. Feeding Tube by Catholic Boys. This song was on the B-side of the Fixed EP on Sweet Rot records. I did not make it available for download because I have not talked to Paul about it.

5.  Plaster by Catholic Boys. This song was also on the B-side of the Fixed EP, but it is available for download because I wrote most of it. Nick made it better though.

6. How Did You Die? is another Catholic Boys song. This was record for a 2nd LP or 7th 7" or whatever. It never came out. I wrote most of this one, too. Therefore, available for download. Again, they all made it better. It was written for Sludgy McStonerPants and the BongRiders originally.

7. You're Gettin' Old was the best song I wrote for Catholic Boys. Besides the solos and particular instrument personality (i.e. Jon's sick bassline) this one is all me. The ending was a band effort.

I did this because I want everyone to have the songs I wrote. I probably won't end up putting up Nick and Paul's songs. The whole idea is kinda stupid, but I hope you enjoy this shit you may have not heard before.

Gear up for a kick-ass spring all ya'lls! There's a million great shows coming up. --eric

Current mood:  hungover
Ok, get this shit. So I'm putting together this month's playlist, which is even more pointless than any more before! So I was trying to put up mostly songs sung by ladies. Mostly because I am in love with Miley right now. Anyway, I tried adding a Muffs song and BAM! Myspace banned me from uploading stuff. Of course, I'm thinking, "it must be that Miley song...somebody somewhere has that shit copyrighted." Nope. It was the Muffs. WTF?! So you get Naughty By Nature instead... Here's the songs:

1. Breakout by Miley Cyrus. Believe it or not, this song was written by Gina Schock. If you wonder who that is... it was the fucking drummer of the Go-Go's. How about that shit?

2. Follow the Trend by the Cichlids. Yeah, I misspelled it on the site. Fuck it. This band was from some small town in N. Florida. The story goes that they were poseurs. So much so that when the KBD committee was putting together the Bloodstains across Florida compilation, the bands F and the Eat were not gonna be on the record unless The Cichlids were left off. Punk.

3. Get to You by the Nastyfacts. Yeah, that's one word. They are still a band. One of the best KBD singles there is. Drive My Car is probably even better than this song.

4. Send me a Postcard by the Shocking Blue. The Shocking Blue is the band that originally wrote "Venus" AND "Love Buzz" that Nirvana covers. Actually, the Mr. T Experience covered this song, but it's a bit better by the Shocking Blue.

5. It's not You by the Okmoniks. Ladies! Justin, who is Nobunny, plays drums for this rock'n'roll band. I don't know if they will tour again, but if they come here I'll let you know.

6. Gaurd Your Grill by Naughty By Nature. I was recently listening to a mixtape that Tony Schwader made me in like 2001. It had this song on it, and it reminded me how awesome NBN was. I listened to this shit all the time when I was about 11. ALL THE TIME. It's still really good. Found out today this is not their debut LP either. They were called the New Style before this and released an album on MCA called Independent Leaders. Anyone ever heard it?

Keep it real. --eric

Damn Straight. Google "Milwaukee Shows" and see who comes up in the 1 spot. Enough of your hippie jam bullshit Milwaukee Rocks. Also, check out my new awesome music player with the hottest illegally downloaded music on the net. Now including:

"Blah Blah Blah" from Husker Du's awesome LP/EP "Everything Falls Apart"

"S.O.S." from Abba's 3rd LP "Abba" or alternatively known as "the Limo One"

"Oh Help Me Lord" from the Mystery Girls amazing "Under my Tongue (LSD is Fun)" 7". Also available for illegal download because I don't give a shit about that record label...wait. I was on it. D'oh!

"Please Stand By" from one of Milwaukee's best bands ever, the Shivvers. The song was not released until like 3 years ago, even though it was probably written in like 1978.

"Can't Stand the Midwest" from Dow Jones and the Industrials "s/t" 7" of 1980. Classic song. I think this band still plays and is probably the biggest candidate for getting me sued currently. Even though the song is not available for download.

I think I'll update the music player once a month. Probably not with music pertinent to the shows that are coming up though. That would make too much sense, and I'd rather make you hear "Tampax in the Cunt" or "UFO Diktator" or something.

So, Harlots can't make the show on July 23rd. Yeah, it's really stupid to add a band in their place, but check this shit out. Real hardcore.

Two Songs and Isolated. Both killer jams. I advertised 9 bands, 9 bands you will get. I think I'm gonna blog sometimes now. I've been thinking about it lately, you'll see.
