I sit and enjoys the singing of my family. How their voices join together to sing a happy birthday. It was an amazing day full of food, cake, and fun. However, the best gift i have recieved is not found in the cake, food, family, or fun; but it has been in the most intimate, breath taking, satisfying moments spent with God. Where I have found myself in a divine romance with my Savior Jesus Christ; the greatest gift given to humanity. My heart will forever give thanks to the Father for giving His Son as a gift to be saved and how much more I care to Him that the Holy Spirit has made His home in me! No other gift will compare and no other gift to admire. The fullness of Your grace is here with me the richness of Your beauty’s all I see The brightness of Your glory has arrived In Your presence God, I’m completely satisfied For You I sing I dance Rejoice in this divine romance Lift my heart and my hands To show my love, to show my love A deep deep flood, an Ocean flows from You Of deep deep love, yeah it’s filling up the room Your innocent blood, has washed my guilty life

Guess what?!!! God wants to be your friend and have a wonderful relationship with you. The only problem is that there is a barrier between you and Him, and that barrier is sin. (sin = death) So what did God do about it? Well He send His son Jesus to pay the ultimate price. It's like a case of a criminal; they have broken the law and are put in prison. Someone comes along who has never broken the law and pays for that criminal's fine and takes the criminal's place. That is exactly what Christ did for us 2000 years ago. He paid our penalty so that we can be made free from sin and religious laws or traditions and receive eternal life instead of eternal doom.
Well you might tell me, "yeah but I have been doing fine without God. I mean I have a nice car, cool clothes, a nice job, a pretty good health, a lot of material things, etc…" But deep down inside there is something missing that no earthly or materialistic thing can fill, not even money, health, or a relationship. You know why? because God created us to be eternal not temporary, so nothing in this world can fill that up. The only one that can is God himself. All we have to do is accept the wonderful free gift of grace.
Let's face it friend, we all need a Savior and a friend, someone who we can count on and who will never ever leave us or forsake us, someone who we can go to and lay our head when we are tired of this world and our life, and most of all we need to know that we are being loved no matter what we've done in the past or the present. The only way out is Jesus and He is waiting for you to come, so He can hold you in His arms. He is just waiting to tell you that He loves you and He died for you so you are no longer held responsible for what you've done, and you can start your life all over again, this time you've got Him to fall on, especially when your going through a hard time. The fact is that He wants to be your best friend. You have to make the decision stop running from Him. If you want to make that decision to accept Him in your heart all you have to say is, "God, I turn away from my sins and ask you to forgive me. I confess by mouth and my heart the Jesus Christ is your Son. I believe that He died and rose from the dead as a final atoning sacrifice for my sins, that I may have eternal life through Him. Jesus I ask you to come into to my life and ask you to fill this void I feel and ask you to be my Lord and Savior, forever. In the name of Jesus amen."
Congratulations!!! Wonderful begin to happen when you give your life to Jesus.
Here are some:
• You are washed clean before God forever (even when you may make a mistake, you can ask for forgiveness and try not to do it again.) giving the assurance of your salvation.
• The Holy Spirit dwells in your heart giving you guidance and discernment in life.
• You have access to God wherever you are through prayer!! He will never leave you no matter how many mistakes you make He will always be right there next to you. There are a lot more things but these are just a few. If you have taken that step I would like to know so that I can help you grow in this cool new journey of your life. I can give you a Bible and some Bible tools to start, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask them, (questions about the Bible, God. If you would like to know why it is important to follow that Bible I could tell you u just have to e-mail me) you can e-mail me. I will keep you in my prayers and again congrats!!! Your new life will begin and it is going to be awesome.

well i hope you are having a nice week so far, here is a little something to finish your week strong, plus friday is good friday
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. - Isaiah 40:31
How many of us have felt like you can't go on any longer? How many of us just want to go ahead and throw in the towel, just completely give up this fight between you and the evil one and his worl? Well, let me tell you something, don't. Keep hanging in there, this race is not over until we get to the finish line. I know that the journey is long and hard, but God is with us and He will never forsake us. The Bible says, "You know that in a race all runners run, but only one gets the prize. So run to win!" - 1 Corinthians 9:24 "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31:6 " ... If God is for us, who is against us?" - Romans 8:31 Which leads to "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now, a crown is being held for me - a crown for being right with God. ..." - 2 Timothy 4:7-8
Let us not forget in whom we trust, even when it is sometimes hard to see, we know that He is there. Don't give up, Yeah it is much more easier to run away from thngs than to stand up and fight or face them. Let us continue this match in the ring even when our vision gets so blurry from all the blood and pain, that the world and the enemy gives us, but keep hanging on to God. Lets put our complete trust in Him, the One who found us and saved us. That is why it is important to die daily with Christ, putting all our wants, confortness, and desires aside and take on the attitude of love, determination, and passion to take on this world. We must be people of prayer and who keep's God's Word written in the tablet of your heart. It's His word that is our weapon to take on anything that the enemy will try to throw at us. His word and prayer are our weapons and encouragement in times of pain and when we are having times of joy and peace. In Ephesians 6:10-18 talks about how, as warriors of Christ, we must suit up everyday for battle, not just one day but everyday. In Matthew 22:37-38 it say's " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment." Meaning that He doesn't just one department of your heart of just saturdays or sundays for 2 hours or just twice a week of your time but everything and everyday of you. Plus if we keep our minds bussy on godly things, His word, prayer, discepleship, etc... than there is less chance for the enemy to attack, cause he likes to put negetive things in our minds, aswell as doubts, random things and bad stuff, worries, etc.. to distract you from God. The Bible even talks about the mind and the renewing of your mind from thinking the old way before God, to thinking positively and in a more godly way. "When people's thinking is controlled by the sinful self, (old way) there is death. But if their thinking is controlle by the Spirit(Holy Spirit) (new thinking), there is life and peace." - Romans 8:6 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." - Romans 12:2
So my friend's I just want you to know that you aren't alone and the promises that God has in your life will be accomplished. So don't give up and let us be in unity serving One King, doing His will, because if everyone is just scattered not caring about each other than how will we be able to finish the work that Jesus left behind for us to do. It will be impossible because we all need each other to help one another when someone falls down or needs encouragement, to work as a team cause some people are better at one thing than others cause God made us all different. And I love how different we all are and i bet God is too. Plus in the end we all are one in the Body of Christ and seving the same God, in Ephesians Chapter 4 it talks a litte bit more about how important it is to be one in the Body of Christ.
So this week lets pray for each other, for the missionaries, for the people who God is using in awesome ways, our pasters and leaders, for Christian artist because they have maintained faithful to God and rooted in Him, and not money or for what the world has to offer them. Let us not be selfish anymore but let us think of others before us because the is what Christ did for us when He was going to be betrayed, beaten, and nailed to a cross, He layed down His life for the sake of us, cause He thought of you and me so that we could have life in Him and not death. Don't give up cause God has not given up on us, plus you never know what kind of impact your making in someones life or you never know who is watching and because God used you to impact this person, they may one day come to the feet of Christ. So I encourage you to read God's Word and to die daily to self and pick up your cross and follow Jesus. "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."-Galations 2:20

"So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions." Romans 6:11-12 Last weekend our pastor, David, told a story of his recent trip to Africa. He and a few of the guys on his team had a few hours to spare so they decided to paddle out in Cape Town, South Africa, which is known for its shark-infested waters. He explained that after they were done surfing, it turned out that one of his buddies, fairly new to surfing, had seen a Great White in the water, but had actually paddled back out, apparently not realizing the danger. David then told this story while teaching and had one of the locals, a guy named Greg from Port Elizabeth near J-Bay, tell him about a time when he himself was surfing with some friends at a local reserve area, a beach teeming with wildlife. Greg explained how that day, he actually witnessed a friend get attacked by a Great White shark. After his friend, amazingly, beat the shark until it left him, Greg and his two other friends, had to drag his now-unconscious friend to the shore. Thankfully, Greg's friend survived, with his arm intact. After hearing his story, David asked Greg, "So, do you ever surf there anymore?" Greg replied emphatically, "Absolutely not!" And so it is with our own walks with the Lord. Once we've experienced the grace and forgiveness that comes with our Salvation in Jesus, we become a new creation, and our new identity is in Him, not in our past sins. If we have died to sin, why would we want to go back to that sinful life? Why would we get back in the shark-infested waters once we know about the danger? We should stay away from that sinful place, not living on the edge, but rather, let's turn 180 degrees in repentance and embrace our newness of life. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Love; The word screams at you from all different angles of life. More songs have been written on the subject of love than about any other topic. It has inspired some of the best and worst poetry in the world; it has set on fire and broken countless hearts throughout human history. We often times throw the word around, using it to describe an assortment of feelings and behaviors and many things described as love actually have nothing to do with it at all. Yet, in a world were love has many meanings and uses how can someone searching for the true meaning find it? What exactly does love look like? What does it have to do with us and serving others? Can true love really be found? These are all question that we may have already asked ourselves but have not yet found the answers to.
Love seems like a simple word yet why do we find it hard to understand? A recent study showed that 5% said love is nothing but a momentary feeling, 8% said love is sex, 27% said love means commitment, and 62% said love is a feeling which comes from the heart and soul<?xml:namespace prefix = w ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word" />.. (sdbahatt)... In our modern society we are bombarded with many different meanings of the word love and often times we confuse love with sex, physical attributes, and feelings or emotions. Unfortunately, none of these things are the definition of love. Love, as we’re going to see, acts in the best interest of the beloved making it practical, a learning process, and a choice. Love is “not just an, emotion as the world sees it, it is action. While admittedly it does have emotion involved with it, it is not as unstable or changeable as emotions are. Affections come and go; grow and fade, but love does not. It is constant because it is more than an emotion; it is more of a constant state of selflessness that produces action.. (Higgins)...” Love in other words is a verb because it produces action that comes from a state of selflessness and it is a deliberate choice you make. To get to the core of the meaning we must turn to the bible.
1 Corinthians 13 provides the world’s most beautiful ode to love.. (New King James Bible)... Here we see an uncommon word for love; there are three Greek words that describe love, two of which are familiar to us. One is Eros, which is used to refer to that part of love constituting a passionate, intense desire for something; it is often referred to as a sexual desire and not much else. The other is Philos, which suggested the appreciation and affection found in a friendship or in family members.. (Moseley)... Unfortunately, neither of the two words comes close to grasping more fully God’s love so the word chosen to describe the kind of love that produces action is agape. Agape describes a love that is based on deliberate choice of the one who loves rather than the worthiness of the one who is loved. For you see “God’s love is very different from us. let me offer a practical definition of God’s kind of love as it works itself out in human lives: love is a commitment of the will and a joy of the spirit that expresses itself in the choice to act in the best interest of the beloved.”.. (Carlson)..
Let us now take a look at what agape is like based on the bible: Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love is not jealous or proud, Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Love is not irritable, Doesn't keep score when it has been wronged, It is never glad about injustices, but Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.. (The Message; New Living Translation)... In other word’s “Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. The bottom line in this biblical definition of love is commitment. Love is not fickle; it is mot mere sentimentality; it’s not subjective; its more than a nice feeling. Love is concrete and practical because it is rooted and grounded in the character of God.”.. (Carlson)..
How was love demonstrated to us through our Creator? This question can simply be answered by the One who created love and is love. The bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life... (New Living Transaltion)..” Here God demonstrated His love in this manner; it is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Jesus is the love that came down from heaven to not only teach love but He lived it everyday of His earthly life. He taught that the first step into loving we must first “‘you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your passion, all your soul, and all your mind.”.. (The Message; New Living Translation).. Then the second is “Love your neighbor as yourself.”.. (New Living Transaltion).. The third He taught is one of the toughest to do for anyone and that is: “I'm telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best - the sun to warm and the rain to nourish - to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?”.. (The Message; New Living Translation)..
God’s love did not end with Jesus teaching about love but it was His love for humanity that was so great that it shook the starts and changed the course of human history. It is the love that brought Him to come down from heaven to dwelling with us to being crucified and dying a painful death. Imagine this: you are being accused of faulty crime so they take to be beaten brutally that you cant even recognized yourselves, and now you are sentence to death as if your disfiguration isn’t enough. Personally i would probably have hatred and rage that fills every fiber of my being as I take a good look at the people who have accused me. Why then did one man and our Lord Jesus Christ shook the stars and changed our perspective on love? Because as He felt the rejection, hate, and nails being driven in His hands, He cried out to our Heavenly Father and said, “Forgive them Father for they do not know what they do.”.. (New King James Bible)..<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />....
Scientist like scholars has said that no man alive could have endured the excruciating pain that Jesus suffered in His last hours here on earth. They don’t understand how He did it, but the bible continues to tell us that it was agape; loving unconditionally, not giving up.. (Carm)... It was His love for you and me that drove Him to continue staying strong while lash after lash stroke Him. It was His love for ALL humanity that kept Him carrying the cross after He had already fallen three times and a mile left to go. It is love that made Him give up His life in exchange that we may spend eternity in Heaven and drove Him to say the words, “It is finished” while hanging on the cross. “Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends.”.. (New Living Transaltion)......
The cross was the ultimate display of love but God had demonstrated His love before He sent His Son to earth. It goes all the way back before the foundation of the earth. The earth we live in now wasn’t made to be empty but it had a purpose. The purpose was for us to dwell in it and enjoy the creation that has been made for us. Everything you see now; the breathtaking sunset, isn’t there just to be there but it was made for you and me. To stand in awe and look at the beauty of God’s hand. Unfortunately, it was our disobedience that caused brokenness between us and God; that brokenness is called sin. But even after the fall of humanity He still showed His love and kindness towards us. We see throughout the entire bible; from redeeming the Israelites of slavery in Egypt to the death of Jesus Christ for our sins and resurrection. We see it displayed in nature and in other people; His love is everywhere. The cross marked a breathtaking point of what love is, how it looks, and where we can go to find it, but it did not end there for Jesus still continues to live among us through the Holy Spirit.....
So, now, I challenge you to loose this life, loose this world, and “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your passion, all your soul, and all your mind.” In other words, with everything you’ve got and let Him be Lord of your life. I encourage you to love those around you, including your enemies, because God has shown His love and forgiveness towards you. “We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in him. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear.”.. (New Living Transaltion).. Let agape devour everything you are for it is love that is complete.....
"Agape is total love, the love that devours those that experience it. Whoever knows and experiences Agape sees that nothing else in this world is of any importance, only loving. ".. (Coelho)......

Hey i hope u are having a nice week so far, here is a little encouregment to finish your week of strong :) Enjoy I have given then Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. - John 17:14 Why is it that we are no longer of this world? The reason why is that as soon as we make the decision to give our hearts to the Lord and commit our lifes to Him, our new life begins. The Lord takes that and He starts transfoming our hearts and our minds, and we start to see that the things that were once valueble to us are no longer importent. Our thinking changes from before to experiencing love for others and we start focusing on the things of God rather than materialistic things, parties, drugs, etc. I mean those things may seem fun and may make you feel better for a while, but nothing compares to what the Lord has for us here and especially in heaven. The Bible tells us, "Since, then, you have been raise with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God." (meaning the Father) Since, then, we no longer set our minds and heart on the ways of this world, people will tend to see us as wierd or crazy because we no longer go by the standards of this world. What exactly are the standards of this world? The standard of this world is this: the world is constantly pushing us to be better than everybody else. In things such as who has the better car, bigger house, better body, etc. Before we know it, we are all caught up in this, that we no longer enjoy life and all we do is keep pushing and pushing until we have nothing left. That is why the Bible tells us "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." - Romans 12:2. As Christians we should discipline ourselve to focus on eternal realities instead of earthly realities, because what is on earth won't las forever but what is in heaven will. Everyday we must try hard to live our lives for the will of God instead of the worlds. Because God doesn't care how much money you have, how cool your friends think you are, or who has the faster car ( I want to make it clear that having money, a fast car, and great friends doesnt make u worldly, I am saying that it is bad when u start to get all caught up in it, and loose focus of God.) what He wants is your entire self, your heart. When you give Him that you will feel like the riches person on the entire planet (even when you may not have all those those materialistic things) but your spirit is rich of God's Love, that keep us wanting more of it. Yeah i know it is hard but we aren't in this alone (along with other believers) we have a helper, The Holy Spirit. I will talk more about the important role the Spirit of God plays in our lives. So this week let us pray that God will help us live out every single day for Him and not for this world. Let us be proud that we belong to God and we are citizens of heaven instead of this world. Well I hope u have nice rest of the week.

Current mood: peaceful
Being a Christian isn't just a religion or title it is having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That is basically what Christian means. Once you have that relationship there is nothing in this world that can take it away from you. And it is more amizing than the treasures of this old world.
I use to have a great life without God, to tell you the truth, i had friends i use to make people laugh, but i use to always feel like something or someone was missing in my life, i use to feel such loneliness and emptiness in my interior, u know. In fact i use to get everything i wanted but in the end i would always feel alone and so empty. So one day i said this is enought i am going out there and find water for this dry heart of mine. So one day i went with my aunt and she was listening to Christian rock and i was like wow this music sounds really good, she told me i could keep the cd so i did, i would always listen to it (it was Jeremy Camp) Then i started to feel good in the inside but yet my soul was still dry and thirsty, so i started to listen to some sermons on tv and i liked them and then on August of 2006 i finally gave my life to Jesus, on that day i said, "Lord this is all of me, i don't want to keep on living like this, like a dead person just wondering in this world, i am sick of this, i am sick of feeling empty, come into this heart of mine, i want You to feel it up with joy, peace, love, life, blessing, protection,... Please help me, save me cause i need you."
From that day on, I feel like a totally different person, i see life in a whole new perspective, and i just love life, i love people and i just feel like my soul is always full of breath and water and love, joy, peace, and i am no longer a dead person wondering about with no purpose, I am just so greatful because He has been there for me, and even though there has been hard times i know that He hasn't abbonden me because He is there to rescue me in time. The best part is that i know i will never feel alone.
