"Saltar Hype Entertainment has teamed up with Uprooted & Unmuted to bring you the Here & Now Festival, showcasing some of Melbourne’s best up and coming live acts on the first weekend of summer. "

"Starting at 1pm, 22 bands will perform on 2 stages, Rock & Roots, at Brunswicks Noise Bar Hotel, 291 Albert st.

‘Noise TV’ (channel 31) will be filming the event for a three hour Here and Now Festival special, to screen over two weeks in January.

Beers will be flowing all day and the BBQ will be firing up at 4pm!!"

"Australians are renowned for looking after their mates, defending their turf and pulling together in times of need. Tragedy unites those from all walks of life... Old, young, black, white, metal head, drum n bass DJ... This has been proven even more so since Black Saturday and no-one has been left untouched, directly or otherwise, by the news of the bushfires that have affected thousands of Victorians since that horrific day... Out of the ashes of this tragedy have risen a group of music soldiers hell bent on producing an event so diverse yet so united in its entirety, that will prove that no matter what you are about, what music you listen to, what shoes you wear, that when you combine brilliant minds from all walks of life, you can create a collaboration so amazing, that nothing will stand in their way. That event in the making is called 'FIRE AID 2009' and will consist of musicians and music lovers, guitar players and vinyl spinners unlike ever before. With VJ's, Dj's, bands and burlesque, nothing will be left to the imagination. Our objective is to bring a day of entertainment raising funds for the Bush Fire Survivors surpassed by no-one and filled with our heart and soul. With the determination of this small but mighty music army, we will rise above the tragedy as only Australians can and show the community that no matter what happens, united we stand! So whether you love to raise the metal horns or dance to your house music du jour, FIRE AID 2009 will not disappoint and attempt to raise an amazing amount of money for those struck down by tragedy but revitalised by the Australian Spirit.. We have a few discounted pre-sale tickets for sale for Rock The Bay festival at The Espy on Sat March 7^th. 

Tix are $20 instead of $21+BF (you’ll save $3.75 per ticket and they’ll be posted to your door!) 

1) Send us a message titled “Rock The Bay tickets” and simply tell us the amount you would like to order, along with your postal address. 

2) We will reply with transaction details for you to transfer the total. 

3) Once your payment has gone through, we will post your tickets straight to you.
