OK, so last I wrote, I had just finished jury duty, still continuing my weight loss and getting ready for my .99 cent yard sale.

Well, so much has been going on since then............

The weight loss is successfully continuing, slowly but surely.  Now I'm up to 30 lbs. although I did not go to Weight Watchers for a weigh-in this past weekend.

And my .99 cent yard sale was so successful, I will be having another one the second Saturday in July with more great stuff.  You can't go wrong for what I'm selling for .99 cents !

I have resumed my basement renovation.  I had put it off for about a year or so but now I am full force ahead with it.  There's lots of cleaning and throwing away and it's making me a very happy camper  : )

And one of the reasons for the renovation is because we have a new member in our family.  3 weeks ago, my husband and I rescued a kitten.  The mama had her litter in my yard end of April/beginning of May but after a week, moved the 4 babies to another shed 3 houses down.  Unfortunately she left them about 2 weeks later.  We lost 3 of them  : (   but we were able to save one.  Since he was still so small and an orphan, we took him in and decided to keep him.  He's doing well and so damn cute !!  I will be putting up some pics of him soon.  His name is PUTSA............ In Italian, that means stink/stinky because when we rescued him, he just stunk so bad !!!  LOL  !!

Oh, BTW, me husband and I built a 6 ft. playpen for him yesterday.  We will be putting the finishing touches on it today.  We have to separate him from our other 6 yr. old cat, BACI (that means kiss in Italian) because Baci is not so sociable and to keep the baby safe.
